Official: Neymar signs for PSG

It's actually Barca, not Spanish FA, according to the Spanish FA (so who knows which is the culprit). In either case, Spanish FA/Barca have a max of 15 days to submit that paperwork and they've decided to use every second of it. The clock started last Thursday. So this would be the last game he would miss under any scenario.

I don't know why they are acting like this, they put a release clause on Neymar's contract and PSG met it.

So apparently the money for Neymar hasn't been recieved and thus Barca is refusing to send the transfer certificate

If it hasn't being paid then how are the french league and psg rightfully expecting the certificate for his transfer? How is neymar a psg player? How has barca not complained up to this point? Why didn't barca sue or cry foul when ney was being unvield as a psg player? Why did barca confirm payment last week thursday? Why will neymar still be eligible to play from next week on, regardless of if barca sends it (transfer cert) or not? This club this is probably to save face. I'm so disappointed and to think that it was the league withholding it all this while.

While True, but let's not also act like there are serious challenges in the Spanish league too. The gap between Real/Barca vs the rest of the league is even far wider than the gap between PSG and the rest of the league. It's just also thesame Barca/Real facing Eibar, Girona, Las palmas, Levante, Alaves, zaragoza, getafe, Santander, Betis, Deportivo, is considered a joke and yet people applaud and hype the shit out of such any win or goals scored against such opponents.. So, it's all about perspectives here. You see whatever you choose to see tbh..
