He is playing for a village club that can't handle him, they are just enabling that side of his personality. The guys has been a star since he was 15 and still is not being held responsible for how he behaves. PSG are bending over all kind of ways for him

I also remember the Ferrari Boys at Real Madrid in the mid 90s too lol.

I don't think anyone is making it out as some "new thing". We've seen players be asses before.

It's just pointing out that the guy is a bit of a dick. Which he is. I used to like him, really hard to after everything he's done at PSG so far though rofl

Total dick. Not a bit of a dick. Referees in Ligue 1 do not differentiate between a nobody playing for Caen or a Neymar... so he feels that the league is too physical. What a pussy.

Ibra, for all his faults, was a freakin stud. They tried to foul Ibra at first so he sent a couple of guys to the hospital lol. That ended the fouling.

I always liked him because of his play. Watched the first 5 or so PSG games and just had to stop. The moment he stepped in Paris he unleashed all his repressed impulses to be the biggest dickhead in football. Those first games were unbelievable. He calmed down since then but is still just a huge asshole in a club that enables him.

Have to give props to ~~Barca~~Messi for keeping him in line.

It's a straight yellow.

If the ref was more strict, or honestly just went by the current advice to referees, Neymar should have gotten a second yellow and been sent off.

He was surrounded by legit great players at Barcelona who had way more influence than him which ensured his dickhead ways were very much repressed. Now that he has no Lionel, no Iniesta, no Busquets, etc, he is very much in his comfort zone of being his normal d-bag self. He didn't change, he just had to tow the line at Barcelona.

And who exactly could tell Neymar how to behave? Cavani, cry cry baby no. 1 who wasn't a saint when he first came to the club (apparently) or cry cry baby no. 2 Silva whose feelings are quite delicate? The club itself? PSG paid close to quarter billion for his services and he still flirts with Madrid.

I do not mind his on game skills that might shame some players. It should be a show, but the handshake thing is very disrespecting. Defenders might try to hurt him even more now. They know they cant stop him and his attitude is making it easier for them to target him with clear conciseness.

PSG used to have eccentric personalities before such as Lavezzi or Ibrahimovic, yet it was mostly light-hearted behaviors meant to entertain.

Neymar's attitude is only vindictive. He thinks the world revolves around him and when he realize it ain't so, he tries to humiliate others. No wonder why people despise him.
