Funny you should say that because it seems that's exactly what they did. Spurs asked for £50m. Spurs got £50m. Laughing

The concept of negotiating and value is flying out the window for Premier League teams. How else can you explain someone like Everton thinking that £50m is a good price for a glorified free-kick specialist?

Im pretty sure they know what they are doing in terms of getting the right players, even if money management is that terrible, which I doubt, even if they so so rich....

Great for both teams imo. Man City can afford mad cash and need a good right back. Kyle Walker is a good right back (people calling him average are not on base here, he's quite decent). That being said, he's just that-- quite decent.

Spurs on the other hand would prefer to keep him, and I personally would like to see him stay. However, 53m pounds for Walker is ridiculous and Spurs are foolish if they were to turn it down. Trippier is a downgrade, but he's not too much worse. Spurs will buy a new RB now and rotate him with Trippier. The rest of the cash can be used for contracts/stadium/new additions to the squad.

If City sell Ikehenacho to Spurs they would recoup some of that cash, making the deal make more sense than that stupid figure.
