Oh look
2 penalties denied but Lacacette's boot is 1.3 centimeters offside, perhaps.
What a GREAT decision by the referee. SUCH A GREAT DECISION.
Wow, this is a moment where you must congratulate the ref assistant for this great decision.

My biggest takeaway from that game is Welbeck is *bleep* shit.
I apologise for comparing Firmino to him, Welbeck is different level of crap.

Re: Premier League 17-18 Discussion
Wenger strikes again
Mertesacker, Holding and Chambers all fit - none of them play. We play two left backs in the backline next to a guy with no fitness.
Bellerin plays LWB, Chamberlain plays RWB. Bellerin proceeds to struggle because he has no left foot.
Ramsey plays like a forward, Lacazette is deeper than he is.
Trailing the game, he takes Lacazette off (just robbed of a great goal), takes Xhaka off (who was shit anyway), leaves Welbeck on who can't finish at all, brings on Walcott who did nothing and Iwobi who did nothing. No width in the team, Stoke easily see out the game.
It's going to be a long season.

Don't blame Wenger for the referee robbing you of a goal and 2 penalties

Also taking Lacazette off and leaving Welbeck on
That's a sackable offence imo.

Wenger knows more about football in his left pinkie than you ever could, @Great Leader Sprucenuce, even if you DNA computed the databases and engines of several video games into your brain

Everything you just said is pure irrelevance.
Anyone with a brain as Jay pointed out knows those decisions were moronic.
I don't care that he's a legend, doesn't mean he isn't capable of making awful decisions.
Only the stupid rely on he knows more than you crap.

Also i'm going to say this now when RG is not here....
Ramsey is a total headless chicken, he runs around aimlessly forcing Ozil deeper alongside Xhaka because Ramsey has no positional intelligence.
To the point that the team would probably be better off with Elneny tbh, basically Arsenal need a new CM.

Re: Premier League 17-18 Discussion
Ramsey is a forward in a midfielder's skin The timing of his runs is excellent and teams don't pick him up. But it also means he takes up positions our forwards can take up, and you can see how that effects Lacazette who was pretty much playing as a 10 today. So Ozil ends up even deeper. And as one of our two midfielders, it leaves far too open. Xhaka is no DM. If we have three functioning defenders we might get away with it, otherwise it's not going to work.

Geez I thought I learn slow But this is Wenger's Arsenal for what 10 years now? They dont have a clue how to defend. Whats new? Another opening day loss, whats new? Not going to finish top 4 anymore is something to get used to though, blame it on the club keeping Wenger, nothing more to say

Re: Premier League 17-18 Discussion
Had to mute Sky after about 20 minutes, sick of listening to all their bollocks.
Apparently we are all over the place defensively when the only chance i recall them having was a long range Ince chance after Atsu gave the ball away when Ritchie's chance was far better than that.
Also the bollocks about how Mounie is the inventor of heading a football, *bleep* off with your bullshit.
We haven't played well, but the wank fest in general is *bleep* annoying. I will literally go insane if every game is like this.

Re: Premier League 17-18 Discussion
If Benitez is good at something, it's forming a strong defenisve unit tbh.
From what I've seen (since minute 30), you're effectively blocking passing lanes to that bald Australian playmaker, who's very good, and Huddersfield constantly have to try to build up with risky long balls out wide which often end up out of bounds. So sitting back and countering.
Not exactly a big team approach against an underdog like Huddersfield

Re: Premier League 17-18 Discussion
We can't play like a big team tbf, we have *bleep* all technique in the team and that's not really his fault as our best technical players are the ones he's signed.
We have to play like this, it's not exactly fun but i'm not going to blame Benitez when half the team ( that were there before he became manager) can hardly control a football.
