Strange from Poland just crumbling mentally in the two games. Dominates the start and then just falls apart on the first hit.

Because we have a shit team. They were lucky to suprise an opponent twice in the start but in the long run they are found out. Defending is basically non-existent.

Could be a bit better with Zieliński and Milik but still.

That probably got both Poland and Sweden eliminated. Plus Englnad will now have to play a motivated Poland with something to play for.

Spain, Portugal, Italy and Germany can thank Poland for that too. Helps with them with the possibility of qualify from tough groups.

This team can feck right off. What a horrendous second half, bunch of bottlers. Also Poland showing what to do on a penalty. We could've won both games instead we draw them both and let England who aren't better than us progress. Feck off

Excellent match between Spain and Portugal. Bruma with that delightful goal, Sandro getting on the scoresheet and Spain looking just as easily to concede as they are easily to score.

Bad luck overall but just unnecessarily complicated. Changing 2 midfielders and 2 defenders just because. Locatelli, Benassi, Gagliardini, Caldara, Barreca, Chiesa all on the bench...

Czech playing well and very very physical. Italy mostly played well but need more urgency and to take off one of Cataldi or Grassi for Gagliardini, or both and throw in Chiesa as well.

That amazing Italian defense at its best. Also, Czechs definitely earned that win and a lovely reminder to myself that football would always be a physical sport. Their physicality was definitely on show today.
