5 storyline ideas that were rejected. More details of each on the link.
1. Dean Ambrose And AJ Lee Hook Up In A Mental Institution (2012)
2. Faction Of Former Indy Stars Invades WWE (2012)
3. Big Show Assaults Alberto Del Rio's Father (2013)
4. The Romance Of Cody Rhodes And Kaitlyn (2013)
5. Cody And Brandi Rhodes As The New Goldust And Marlena (2014)

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 34
Should have an indy stable right now imo since it's the smark era. Have them feud with an anti indy stable. Eventually have a match where the losing team leaves WWE.
Rollins, Balor, Joe, Crews, Cesaro, Styles, Owens, Zayn
vs
Cena, Miz, Mahal, Orton, Reigns, Corbin, Strowman, Ryder

I agree it would work now tbh, although i'm not sure how a loser leave WWE thing would work because they are not going to legit fire half the roster lol.
Obviously you need something to raise the stakes though, although considering WWE *bleep* up the WCW invasion angle i wouldn't be surprised if they messed this up too.

Not really a fan of the pop up powerbomb. The opponent has to do too much for it to work imo. Especially the bit where the guy has to jump onto his shoulders, looks unnatural.

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 34
Said before MT but surely that's the case with most finishers?
It's basically reliant on the person selling it to look it's best.
While we are discussing things related to the wrestlers in that clip though, i dislike the Helluva Kick much prefer the Blue Thunder Bomb tbh.

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 34
Among current guys?
Probably F5 or RKO tbh
I like finishers which don't need a lot to set up and can be hit pretty easily.
Thus i don't really like moves off the top rope most of the time who moves like the Helluva Kick where they are taunting in a corner.
I used to like the Styles Clash in TNA but in WWE it takes him too long to execute it so i don't really like it all that much.
I also much prefer things like Running attacks when they are not massively telegraphed as well, Spears and such like are good when you don't see it coming.

I like Sister Abigail too tbh, i also like End of Days a lot tbh although considering no one here likes Corbin that might be frowned upon.

Sweet chin music and only the one hit by HBK and nobody else.
Other than that, Swanton bomb, jacknife powerbomb, F-5, jbl's clothesline from hell and shooting star press or whatever its called.

Corbin fan here. Might not be particularly good on the mic yet, but I think he'll get better.
My favorite finisher - Code breaker.

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 34
For me, a great finisher needs two things for sure.
1- It has to look legit. It has to look like it could finish someone off. It just can't look soft.
2- It needs a surprise factor. I hate finishers that need a lot of set up or help from the opponent for it to be performed.
An extra element I enjoy is the theatrics before the finisher. It allows the audience to know what's coming.
So I'd say my favorites are:
Spear and Jackhammer combo
Sweet chin music
Rainmaker
F5
Boma ye

Slowly approaching TNA ratings.
The final rating for Monday’s post-Payback WWE RAW was a 1.99, down from last week’s 2.04 rating for the go-home show. As noted, RAW drew 2.87 million viewers this week, down from last week’s 3.007 million viewers. This is the first time the RAW rating has dropped below a 2.0 this year.
