Reigns is like the heel equivalent of a smark favourite. They're the only people who give him a loud reaction and put him in the spotlight.

Sure Miz who was in the main card of Mania and had extended promo time and build up on the Road To Wrestlemania was booked worse (he completely deserved it btw).

They gave Ambrose just two title defences since he won, eliminated him from the Rumble like a jobber, had him on the fkin preshow of Mania and not even an appearance on Payback (main show+pre show).

Oh but this is a fantasy, Ambrose is booked as strong as Reigns and shoved down threats.

So glad he is still so over with the fans.

Again bringing up what happened in 2016. I am talking about recent booking. How can Ambrose be the IC champ Miz was when he is hardly booked to defend the title on TV?

Braun was on the pre-show, and then next PPV he won on the main event while Ambrose was not even on it.

I'll be happy when he's back on big PPV matches where he belongs. He was an awesome IC champ in his first reign because he was actually in a great feud which got good TV time.

And of course Styles lost more last year, he was a heel. What other heel other than Lesnar does not lose at least semi regularly. And stop bringing up last year, I am talking about recent booking. Last year after jobbing to Lesar he was booked just like he deserved to be. And it was great to have a universally loved babyface, we did not have that since Bryan in 2014. His run as the kingpin, feud with Jericho, feud with Ziggler, feud with Reigns/Rollins, feud with Styles, comedy with Ellsworth, feud with Miz, he was gold.

From the mic time he has had on RAW so far he is still entertaining and has the crowd behind him. Good for him.

If all 3 are considered to be main eventers who are on the same level, then Ambrose is definitely treated the worst out of them. It's not that he's booked like shit, if he was he'd be a jobber. He just isn't booked at the level that he should be. Rollins and Reigns are always involved in main event level feuds, while Ambrose hangs around the upper midcard. Also a former WWE champion and a main eventer doesn't appear on the pre show at Mania.

He's definitely overdue a heel turn. Can see it happening soon.

I can see why they would want to keep him face. Out of time full time faces he is the most over after Styles now. He sells merchandise and is a big pop on all arenas. Heel Ambrose/Moxley is gold tho.

It seems like ages since he pinned Reigns clean.

Also I should state this that I want to like Ambrose, but he's been stale for a long time. Only time I have liked him in last 18 months was Ziggler and Styles feud.

The rest of the time it's been stale AF, while people like Miz and Jericho consistently reinvent themselves he stays the same and it bores me.

I'll leave it alone for now, but the idea he's treated badly grinds my gears and 1,000% agree with the idea that he's complacent and rests on his laurels.

But far too often he isn't, every other guy who is actually good in the company consistently evolve their character and he doesn't.

Jericho is only on like a month of touring. He'll be back by Summerslam. I'm guessing Owens beats him and injures him and Jericho returns for a final grudge match at Summerslam. He sticks around Smackdown as upper midcard/main eventer face.

Anyway i watched the main event.

Entertaining match but it's a microcosm of why nobody is over on this show.

You got Seth Rollins who outside of HHH has barely got a win of any importance in ages and even that had  Stephanie bump to protect HHH lol.

His win against Joe was hardly impressive and Joe interfering makes sure that neither guy goes anywhere and nobody cares.

Finn Balor and Bray Wyatt feud, Finn Balor wins and people go so what it's Bray Wyatt he always loses feuds and Bray Wyatt wins and you think Finn Balor has been out so long you gotta protect him.

Once again nobody goes anywhere, then you have the Miz who is no 1 contender due to two distractions so he did nothing to earn it.

He wins the IC title and everything looks like a joke including Ambrose and Ambrose wins so what it's the Miz.

Once again nobody goes anywhere and why should anyone care, the inability to build up stars and the mother like overprotecting has basically led to what you see.

Because of this they are basically scared to put people over strong, there's always some form of BS to protect people and doing this neither goes anywhere.

Yeah i agree, but i don't completely blame him for that. We saw Owens during the Universal title and how he turned into a comedy guy.

Sure the Jericho stuff was entertaining, but it severely stunted his character and made him a bit of a joke.

Feel the same about Ambrose, i should be clear that his character being stale isn't completely his fault as it's clear it's a direction from WWE higher ups.

For some reason WWE wants almost all their top guys except Reigns to being comedy based jokes.

Wouldn't even be surprised if they do the same with Strowman eventually, it's aids.
