- Mark Henry is rumored to be returning to WWE TV for the new stable with Xavier Woods, Kofi Kingston and Big E that we saw form on RAW.
- Besides Brock Lesnar vs. John Cena for the WWE World Heavyweight Title at SummerSlam, the other top matches are Roman Reigns vs. Randy Orton and Seth Rollins vs. Dean Ambrose.

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 17
- It's said again, following last night's RAW, that the feud between Rusev and Jack Swagger may have been dropped already. On RAW, WWE made mention of Swagger tapping out to Rusev at Battleground, even though their match ended in a count out, which likely was to set up a rematch.
It's possible the feud is being dropped due to the heat on Lana for her promo at Battleground, which is why WWE had The Great Khali interrupt her promo on RAW before she could even get started.
On a related note, Lana tweeted the following after Brock Lesnar returned on RAW last night:
"@HeymanHustle & @BrockLesnar are back.I look forward to the day that @RusevBUL will CRUSH the man that conquered streak ! @wwe #RAW"

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 17
- Bray Wyatt was originally supposed to defeat Chris Jericho at Sunday's WWE Battleground pay-per-view but the finish was changed on Sunday and it was reportedly a Vince McMahon decision.
As of Saturday's creative meetings, Wyatt was still planned to defeat Jericho at the pay-per-view. The two will be having their rematch at SummerSlam and then likely another match at Night of Champions before Jericho takes another hiatus.

Jericho disappearing again in a couple of months
As much as I like him and others like him, them coming back a few months at a time is just shit
Also lol at Vince stepping in to have a full timer future top face job to a man who makes a few apps every year, he really has lost it
Bring HHH into power ASAP

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 17
Well Bray winning 3-0 would have been over kill probably. Bray hopefully wins the next two PPV and win the feud.
I actually don't understand this feud at all. With Cena, the feud was good because as absurd as it was, Bray was trying to corrupt a hero and that was fine. But this feud makes no sense. It's almost a filler feud because no one takes Jericho seriously after he jobbed to Fandango.
Bray has other wrestlers he could feud with. Let him have a go at US title against Sheamus.

Big Show returned to action after tonight’s WWE SmackDown tapings in Orlando, Florida.
The dark main event saw Kane come out and demand that officials send him a “body” out, he didn’t care who it was. This led to Big Show coming out and accepting the challenge. Big Show ended up winning the match by count out and thanking the fans for their support to end the show.

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 17
Bo Dallas recently spoke with Donald Wood and
- Spoiler:
- the folks at Ring Rust Radio before Sunday’s WWE Battleground pay-per-view. Below are some highlights from their conversation:
Donald Wood: Sunday, July 20 is WWE’s Battleground Pay-Per-View on the WWE Network. You are scheduled to compete in the Battle Royal for the Intercontinental title. Do you Bo-lieve you’re going to walk out as the new champion?
Bo Dallas: Absolutely. You’ve got to look at any situation as the most positive that you can and the most positive is obviously me winning. So if I bo-lieve I can do it, then I can.
Mike Chiari: So many of the all-time greats took their first step toward the top in WWE by winning the Intercontinental Championship. Is that how you view the IC title? As a potential stepping stone to the main-event scene down the line?
Bo Dallas: Oh absolutely. Look at the Intercontinental Championship’s legacy. You’ve got Randy “Macho Man” Savage, Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels, “Mr. Perfect” Curt Hennig. The Intercontinental Championship is a legacy, not only something I’ve strived to get in my life, but a big step in my career. Yes, it’s a dream, and if I could accomplish it, it would mean the world to me.
Brandon Galvin: Bo, is there any specific backstory as to how you developed your current character? Was there a certain life-changing moment or other inspiration? Or did happen to stumble on something completely different from the norm and run with it?
Bo Dallas: There was no one moment that I could look at that says, ‘this is what happened.’ It was just a series of events. I got the opportunity to become NXT Champion down in the NXT developmental, and luckily I got 8 months as the champion and it just sort of developed. Things started happening and everything was clicking on all cylinders and working and it developed and morphed into its own monster. I just rolled with the punches, kept my eyes open and my ears sharp to everything that was coming in and took it and ran with it.
Donald Wood: Before your incredible winning streak on the main roster, you were the longest-reigning NXT Champion in history. With you experience in both WWE and NXT, what are some of the major difference between performing in NXT and the main roster and what advice would you give to a star making the transition?
Bo Dallas: The way the developmental system is these days is different than it has ever been. They do so much to prepare us for making that jump from NXT to the big stage that there’s not many differences. NXT is its own brand and has become bigger than I think ever thought was possible. But if I can give any inspirational advice to anyone coming up, really look at what you do and know that what works, works. It doesn’t matter the size of the stage, if it works at a smaller stage, it will work at a bigger stage and stay true to what you are and Bo-lieve in yourself.
Mike Chiari: Your brother is currently having a lot of success in WWE as Bray Wyatt and your dad works for the company as well. What’s it like for you to work so closely with your family? Do you think that it’s been beneficial to your career so far?
Bo Dallas: Absolutely. Road life is hard. You’re always traveling and you never get to go home, but when you have your family on the road, you always have someone you can trust to bounce ideas off of and know that the advice you get is in the best interest for you. It’s just a great feeling to know you can have someone like that on the road with you at the hardest times
Brandon Galvin: Not many have the opportunity to grow up in a wrestling family as successful as yours. Are there any memories that stand out to you that helped better prepare you to be a WWE Superstar?
Bo Dallas: Oh yeah, tons. Just being around WWE superstars throughout the past that I consider friends and family, and learning from them and watching them and having little memories growing up that help today and just having the comradery and seeing old friends and people I grew up with. Seeing their sons and their daughters and being together with them, it’s just like a family.
Donald Wood: You have dominated SmackDown as one of the most promising prospects of the last several years. WWE returns to Philadelphia on Tuesday, October 7, for a SmackDown taping. How do you think the hardcore wrestling fans of Philadelphia will react to you?
Bo Dallas: Oh they’re going to love me! I’ve got to look at any situation as a positive situation, and I know there are some Bo-lievers out there in Philadelphia somewhere. If they’re not, I’m going to make them one.
Mike Chiari: Early last year you had a brief run on the main roster when you entered the Royal Rumble and then beat Wade Barrett the next night on Raw. Do you feel like that taste of being a full-time WWE Superstar helped prepare you for your current stint?
Bo Dallas: Yes, absolutely. I got the taste which lit a fire under me. In this industry, you have to evolve to stay relevant, what I wanted, I felt. So I had that eight months to know that that’s what I wanted and just worked as hard as I could, nonstop, to get where I needed to be, develop this character and develop who I am today. So yes, it absolutely lit a fire under me.
Brandon Galvin: WWE Network has provided fans and wrestlers with the opportunity to rewatch and relive their favorite moments. Are there any wrestlers that you’ve gone back to study in order to help you continue to develop into one of the top WWE Superstars?
Bo Dallas: Oh yeah, constantly. I’m on the WWE Network all the time. If I have free time, if I wasn’t on the radio right now, I would be on the WWE Network. There’s tons. A lot of what I watch is Mr. Perfect. I am a diehard fan of Mr. Perfect and Curt Hennig and his work. If I could go back in time and be in the ring with him, I would do anything for it. But I watch a lot of Curt Hennig’s old matches.

We noted before that WWE was still planning a babyface push for Cesaro but that it was on hold until they "needed it." It appears after this week's WWE events that they may be going in a different direction with Cesaro's push.
Regarding Cesaro as a babyface, he was planned for a significant push at the end of this summer but the decision was made, even before Daniel Bryan went down with an injury, that the big babyface focus would be put on getting Roman Reigns to the top.

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 17
We noted before that WWE canceled this year's SummerSlam Axxess event in Los Angeles due to the ongoing budget cuts. Apparently canceling the event had more to do with WWE having problems finding a location than cost-cutting, according to PWInsider.
WWE has since announced the SummerSlam Panel Series that will replace Axxess that week, which is being held at Club Nokia. That venue holds just over 2,300 people while Nokia Plaza, where Axxess was held last year, can be set up to accommodate over 20,000 people.

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 17
Smackdown spoilers:
- Spoiler:
- * SmackDown opens with a recap of the segment with Triple H, Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman on RAW.
* Ryback and Curtis Axel vs. The Usos is up first. The Usos get the win after Axel gets pinned. It appeared Ryback was upset after the match and walked away, leaving Axel alone in the ring.
* MizTV is next. The Miz comes out and it turns into an Intercontinental Title acceptance speech. His parents are in the crowd and he asks his mom who her favorite Superstar is. She says Roman Reigns to a big pop. Miz goes on bragging until Bo Dallas interrupts to another big pop. They both compliment each other until Dolph Ziggler comes out. Ziggler cuts a promo but Bo interrupts him and tells him to Bo-lieve. Bo then decks Ziggler with a mic.
* Bo Dallas vs. Dolph Ziggler with The Miz on commentary is next. Ziggler hit a Fameasser at one point but Bo kicked out. The Miz distracted Dolph from ringside, allowing Bo to get the win with a roll-up. The Miz then attacks Dolph until Bo joins in and they double team him.
* Backstage promo with Roman Reigns and Renee Young. Reigns took shots at Randy Orton and Alberto Del Rio.
* Cesaro vs. Dean Ambrose in a No DQ match is next. Ambrose brings in a bunch of steel chairs. They brawled with kendo sticks and chairs throughout the match. This was described as a very "ECW-esque" match. Seth Rollins came out and attacked Ambrose. Ambrose gets the upperhand and throws Rollins through the timekeeper area. Ambrose comes back in but Cesaro hits a superplex on top of a pile of chairs. Cesaro goes for the pin but Ambrose counters with a roll-up for the win. Rollins comes in and beats Ambrose down after the match.
* They sell the beatdown by having medics come out and check on Ambrose. They help Ambrose out of the ring and he gets a big pop going up the ramp.
* We get promos for the AJ Lee vs. Paige feud and for John Cena vs. Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam.
* Paige vs. Naomi is next. Paige comes out and skips like AJ Lee to mock her. Cameron comes down to watch the match from ringside. Paige wins by submission and after the match, Cameron comes in to attack Naomi.
* Backstage segment with Goldust and Stardust.
* Bray Wyatt defeated R-Truth. A chant for Chris Jericho broke out during the match. Wyatt cut a promo after the match and took shots at Jericho.
* They aired more promos for the SummerSlam main event.
* Alberto Del Rio vs. Roman Reigns is next. Del Rio gets no love from Florida fans. Reigns gets the win with a spear. SmackDown ends with Reigns celebrating.

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 17
Cena been reading my scripts with that tweet. WWE as well, creating that stable with Kofi, Lesnar main eventing SummerSlam etc.
Cena: It's time for my explanation. The explanation all y'all bitch ass idiots deserve to hear. Now, once upon a time I did this to help y'all. But what did I get in response? I was known as 'theeee' polarising superstar, right, Cole? *Looks at Cole* But what I've said from day one is I am who I am, I am John Cena and that is who I still am. What's changed? Well, you know, what's that quote again... you either die a hero, or live long enough to see yourself become a villain? Well in a way it applies to me. Because what you don't understand is I've been the hero. I've been that crowd pandering hero long enough. The 'role model' who the kids look upto. Well now, not anymore. You wanna know why? It's because I've had enough. Had enough of busting my ass, yet people still not appreciating me. Yes, kids used to love me. But what you don't understand is kids love 'heroes'. They love anyone who resembles a hero. I was just one of many. Do you really think kids run the world? I don't expect all ya'll idiots to understand, but they don't and never will.
TRM: John, I agree with you. 'I-M-O', this company should never revolve around kids. You wanna know why? Because as John said, they're all sheep. They follow all the heroes, just like most generic kids do. The real money makers in this World are the adults. I mean back when this company was booming, who was responsible for the success? Adults. This is why we are going to lead this company back to where it belongs. People like Vince won't understand. Oh no. He will never understand.
Cena: So from now on, there are no more fancy t-shirts, no more stupid jokes. No more NOTHING. From now on, it's all bout me jack, whether you like it or not.
The masked men then surround the ring area once again. Sandow tries to hit the 'you're welcome' on Bray again, however Bray counters and hits 'sister abigail'. He then throws Barrett against the cage and clotheslines him.
JR: That unforgiving steel!
He pins Sandow to become the new Intercontinental champion! The steel cage is lifted up and the masked men jump onto the apron. They then slowly enter and start attacking him.
Each of them remove their masks and one of them is Kofi Kingston, the other is Zack Ryder and the other is Sami Zayn. Big E then comes out and poses with the others.
We move onto the final segment of the night. The cameras are backstage in an office. Cena, TRM, Linda and Stephanie are all taking. Linda: Guys, I have finally decided what's going to happen with the WWEWHC, this Sunday at SummerSlam. Stephanie: Well? Linda: We are going to have a triple threat. It will be, TRM vs Brock Lesnar.. *crowd cheer* TRM: Wait, what? Brock Lesnar? He hasn't even appeared in 5 months dammit! Cena: Yeh! And what about me?! Linda: Hang on, hang on. I'm still talking guys. It will be, you, TRM vs Brock Lesnar vs Randy Orton. With you John, as the special guest referee. Cena: Special referee?? I want to be in the actual match. Not be the damn ref. Linda: John, you gotta trust me on this one. Brock Lesnar and Heyman are then seen entering the managers office. Linda: Brock, I've just told everyone here you will compete in a triple thr... Lesnar: I heard Linda, I heard everything and I don't like any of this. Heyman: My client, BORRROCK LESSSNAR, is a very demanding man. I mean after all, my client Brock Lesnar, conquered the Undertaker's undefeated streak at Wrestlemania. He wants a challenge and with all due respect Linda, your guys right here don't pose much of a threat. So, I have a proposition for you. I, Paul Heyman, want you to gift the title to my client, right here, right now. Or else he will destroy everything in his path. Linda: Now Paul, that isn't something he wants to be doing. Heyman: Is that right? Brock, show them who's boss. Lesnar proceeds to destroy the office. He throws around monitors and tables etc. He then stares down Cena and TRM. However from behind someone hits him on his head with a chair. It's JBL. Cena and TRM then attack Lesnar. He is busted open. wrote:

WWE's website has a new storyline article noting that Stephanie McMahon was released from the Miami-Dade Police Department at 4am EST this morning. They add that Triple H showed up at 1am.
WWE wrote that Stephanie will have to return to Miami at a later date for her charges. WWE.com contacted Stephanie's office but her attorney advised her not to talk to media.
WWE.com's sources say the McMahon family is extremely upset and their attorneys are looking into the best course of action. A source close to Triple H told them that his wife is "an emotional wreck" and "juggling anger, embarrassment, humiliation and self-pity."
