Re: UK General Elections 2017
super sick atm to the point I can barely move
good thing the polling station is literally like 20 seconds from my house or I wouldn't have been able to vote

Re: UK General Elections 2017
Sunderland Central have declared. Labour wins of course.
The Conservatives are doing far better in these areas than the Exit Poll predicted. Labour doing worse than predicted.
Have a feeling Conervatives will get a majority in the end.

Re: UK General Elections 2017
So it is definitely going to be a long night, because Tories doing better in early results than exit poll - possibly because of postal votes

Re: UK General Elections 2017
Basically, the more 'leave' heavy places are, the more UKIP votes swing to Conservs

They will. But they won't last a second term. No way. England is way more intellectual. Labour will form a solid opposition compared to Le Pen not being even close.

Re: UK General Elections 2017
Newcastle East. Landslide Labour win.
Again, better for Conervatives than Labour in terms of Exit Poll.
Swindon have declared. Conservative win.
Labour with an 11% gain and 3% swing in their direction. Better for them.

11% gain is good.
There is a clear labour movement. Mostly youth voters decided to show up and vote for labour.

Re: UK General Elections 2017
Yeah, sounds like there's been a good young voter turnout this time. If nothing else that could be good in the long term.
Btw, love the BBC presenter taking shots at the sound quality on the results announcement

Re: UK General Elections 2017
Labour hold in Sunderland West but it's another swing to the Conservatives.
Big shocker, it's an area with a big leave vote.

Expect Labour to win London, Liverpool and Birmingham at the very least.

Tbh I hope this coverage goes full Sky Sports deadline day and has a random bloke shove a purple dildo down a reporter's ear. That'd be worth staying up for.

Re: UK General Elections 2017
Kettering result. Conservative hold, as expected.
Labour with another 11% gain. Swing 2.6% to Labour.
Wish I could stay up until at least the result for my area but I work 9-5 now
