Trump and Brexit were just an aberration, UK is still ruled by Tories who are mostly globalists and Trump lost the popular votes by 3million but got bailed out by the electoral college.

The margin between her and the third and fourth candidates was extremely close, she got lucky.

Re: French Elections 2017
Nah she got lucky. Valls was out because he was Holland's PM. Fillon had the scandal during his campaign or he would be president today tbh... and it was too late to bring back Sarkozy after the Fillon scandal for the republicains.
The chaos allowed for Le Pen to weasel her way into the final 2. In the end though, she got crushed. French people HATE elitist banking types in general and she STILL got crushed.... that says enough.

Not really, 65% of people would prefer Macron out of 2 shitty options, but only about 20% preferred him outright.RealGunner wrote:"Who would want such a leader?"
65% of the people apparently.
Well done to the French people.

I think discriminating for racist reasons or committing hate crimes is illegal, but merely being racist is not illegal. The question is if your bias also leads you to hurt others.

Filon is probably one of those stereotypical repressed religous conservatives with a lot blackmail material on him. A friendly little phone call from the globalists I'm sure was all it took for him to endorse Macron.

Also, enjoy the upcoming terrorist attacks, gonna be fun.
They had terrorist attacks before Macron.
And that is exactly what?
Would she follow Bush and Blair doctrine by sending massive troops to the middle East? Since the declaration of war on terror in 2001 global terrorists has sky rocketed, and the main reason why it plagues major European cities.
Or the equal ineffective strategy by Obama and now Trump and other leaders, less use of ground troops instead bombing countries endlessly.

you are asking the wrong person here. I didn't make the point I just gave my opinion on what myesyats point was. but my opinion on global terrorism is not enough is done about it.Blue wrote:Unique wrote:I think his point was had le pen won something would have been done about them.Betty La Fea wrote:

The French don't even like themselves in general outright. I wouldn't use that as a barometer of anything.BarrileteCosmico wrote:Not really, 65% of people would prefer Macron out of 2 shitty options, but only about 20% preferred him outright.RealGunner wrote:"Who would want such a leader?"

Did you think they liked Chirac? Sarkozy? Hollande? Not really. Most candidates become president in France out of spite for something lol.

Nah, If they cant win by going mainstream populist then it won't happen no matter how delusional the majority of people are.
If Everybody says the sky is blue, and I say its not then who really is delusional?

The data is out, macron was super super popular with people aged over 65. Many of them will be dead next time.
44% of 18-24 voted for le pen. That is the most diverse age group and we can assume a negligible number of minority 18-24 year olds voted for le pen. Which means a sizeable majority of the native ethnic French youth are rejecting globalism.
Good sign.

Life expectancy in France is early 80's. In what world will a majority of the people over 65 be dead next election? Not unless your friend myesyats gets his wish and there is widespread murder.
Le pen didnt even get half of the youth, and even more so the younger you go the diversity increases. I see no future for the FN or her party in a pre numbers game. Globalism has won, same way it did when France forced herself on the rest of the world

You don't seem to get it. Precisely because the youth is diverse it means that the ethnic French youth must be significantly in favour of Le Pen.
As I am not interested in forming a multicultural right-wing coalition that is all that is important to me. I don't expect minorities to support the right, if they cared about roots and traditions they would have stayed in their own countries and I sure as hell don't support them intruding their culture into other people's territory. The important thing for the right is that ethnic Europeans are starting to view their survival as important.
And as a matter of fact about 80% of 79 + year olds voted for macron so he can kiss their support goodbye lol

France, as you know it, only exists because they intruded into OTHER people's cultures. Where do you think the riches came from? The lush Orleans forest?
France went across the world stealing, and pillaging, and murdering people. They forced multiculturalism on everybody, and they benefitted the most from it. This is the world YOU gave them, not the other way around. You might not want to hear this, but France belongs to people like Henry just as much as it does someone who looks like you, and guess why? Because France forced their multiculturalism on everybody else.
