Seriously- I've lost all respect for Juve
I let it sink in for a few days without commenting. But there's no way around it:
This rebranding thing is absolutely terrible. This is like the worst thing any top club has ever done in world football.
This logo is AIDS.
Basically, Juventus is ruined. They ruined one of the greatest club in history.
This is not hyperbole. This is real.
I mean-
Seriously?
It's impossible to exaggerate how ridiculous this thing is.
What a shambles.

Does anyone know, what the hell is that? How do you design logo so bad, with better than Pentium hardware?Hapless_Hans wrote:

clownish club but we've all been over this already, there are many ways to market yourself successfully without destroying an historic logo, plenty of clubs have done it.
Also , ever having respect for Juve in the first place with their exploits in the 2000s

Yeah I know. But that's what I added to the OP, I have now let it sunk in a few days, didn't really know what to say first but now I can't let this slide.
This can't be let slid.
This is easily the worst logo decision in mankind history.
Shocking. Devastating.

Replacing Pogba with Lemina and acting like everything is OK is a worse offence imo.

Exploits?
Being falsely accused of something and later finding out the accusers themselves were the ones actually doing it is not an exploit, sir.

Since I wasn't around for that, why the 2 J's? Also, having no respect for Juventus suppose to be something everyone should be doing regularly.

Looks like shit. At this point i'm still crossing my fingers with the hope that it's all a joke.
Ridiculous this rebranding around the letter J, makes no sense at all and Andrea Agnelli is high as a kite imo. No respect for the Old Lady nor for the fans.

Oh see that's not as bad.
Still an absolute joke, don't get me wrong. However, it's not as bad as the previous pictures lead me to believe.

Re: Seriously- I've lost all respect for Juve
what has to do a logo with respect for an historic entity built by the great work of some amazing people over more than 100 years?
It's like saying i don't have respect for USA, because they have an ugly flag.

Re: Seriously- I've lost all respect for Juve
The fact that one club (Juventus) is willing to throw away its football crest only to rebrand with a simple hebrew alphabet-looking logo is somewhat questionable.
It's my favourite club, on my part i will always respect Juve, but the idea behind this makes me sick. Agnelli's goal is to make Juve a worldwide brand, selling polos, sweatshirts and all kind of stuff. He wants Juve to be the new popular thing.
Problem is, i don't give a *bleep* about that. And i'm not alone, look on social media... it takes class away from the club. Let's just play football, and if possible, let's use a real football crest while doing it. As far as i know we ain't Swaggy Drake FC yet

That's a witty comment which I would give a +1 usually. However in this case I feel that this is not a laughing matter.
My thread is not meant as a funny wind-up or as banter. This is not about banter.
That's why a comment like the following misses the point.
Luca wrote:I'm glad you don't like it.

This is not about me disliking the logo as an opponent of Juve.
As the thread title says, as a general football fan, not just a fan of one club, of course I feel respect towards a great historic club like Juve. ( @BarrileteCosmico, I can't speak for other Germans and I'm not sure that quote pertains to football. In football we actually not only respect, but FEAR the Italians. In general, what I feel towards the Italians is of course nothing but LOVE. )
And as that general football fan this rebranding literally HURTS.
It hurts my eyes, it hurts my intelligence, it hurts my feelings.
And to be honest, if it already hurts me, I can't begin imagine how much it must hurt Juve fans themselves.
@Warrior says it, he's still hoping it is a joke, as does @CBarca.
I'm still hoping this too, because frankly I can't understand why they would do something so absolutely horrible. Mindless, unnecessary total destruction.
This is like the Joker blowing the world up with hydrogen bombs. The world of Juventus, its history, its rank, its pride.
I had to let it sink in a few days, which probably was some kind of shock state.
Now I can't understand how the city of Torino isn't burning. Why does the Juve HQ still stand? Where are the torches, the pitchforks?
Why haven't the ones responsible for this iconological holocaust been identified, brought to justice, sacked, or hanged? Crimes against humanity?
How does the Juve board still have a job? Why aren't their dead bodies piled upon the bronze horse?

Not sure if serious. Think again. What has a logo rebranding got to do with 'respect for a history entity'? You are asking ME that?
