Juve 'want respect' from refs
Juventus director general Beppe Marotta was furious with the referee and demanded “respect for our team.”
The Bianconeri were held 0-0 by Siena this afternoon, but had strong penalty appeals for a Simone Vergassola handling offence.
“I don’t want to be discussing this through the media, but seeing as clubs are not allowed to communicate with the refereeing designators, this is how it must be done,” said Marotta.
“At times it is only right to make our voices heard so we can defend the club’s rights. Juventus deserve respect and today it would not be fair to speak only about the players.
“Everyone could see we were denied a clear-cut penalty, but unfortunately this habit has been dragging on for a while. We’ve only received one spot-kick all season.
“All we are asking for is respect for our team. It is natural that the Serie A leaders should be assigned a referee of international experience.
“Juve do not like to recriminate, but in some cases it becomes inevitable, especially when you are not allowed to put away potentially decisive points in a campaign.”

Re: Juve 'want respect' from refs
I couldn't agree more. It seems ever since Calciopoli that referees are either too scared to be seen awarding Juventus penalties or they want to look as innocent as possible and ignore Juventus.
It needs to stop. 1 penalty is plain bias. Especially when you're a big team and spend good ammounts of time in the oppositions box. How many have Milan had?

Whether or not we agree with the decision doesnt matter because it doesnt/wont change what happens/happened.
Given the history, we should be the last people complaining about referees.
That ONE turned down penalty claim is not the reason we couldnt win this game but more our lack of ability to convert posession into goal opportunities which we cash in on- and thats the real fact we need to face.

Then probably its the first troll you have ever seen because that was quite weak. You could show countless errors, both negative and positive for any side. Nothing to see here.Rossoneri Ninja wrote:CroInter wrote:Yeah Cagliari wanted some respect too

On topic: we could see that since Calciopoli the refs are really afraid to award Juve penalties, which is partly understandable. This year I'm OK with the refereeing all in all, but in the last 2 years it was badly against Juve.
