if you read madrid medias there was no real interest in Griezmann or Salah. so your theory is mainly false

i just find it weird because yesterday the club coud have also released a state ent to deny CR was leaving but nothing

Just want to put this out there. Although I don’t believe most of the hype Sports put out there about seemly every French player, I do accept that Mbappé is the real deal and would be the perfect fit to what Real Madrid needs.

I just hope there is something to this whether it’s for this year or next.

Scoring goals in the Dutch league isn't all that... ask Altidore. R9 was incredible; but he was with PSV back then.

I mean.. sure Ajax won the CL unbeaten in Ronaldos first season with PSV and made the final the other season but it's Mbappe who REALLY plays in a top league after all only about 20 years later did Altidore score 20 goals in one season in that league.

Yeah, Dutch League was really good in the 90's. The top scorers in that decade didn't have those ridiculous ratios that scrubs like Afonso would later have in the 00s.

I was actually around back then lol.  Dutch league went away in the early 90s...  their best players were picked off early and the league fell off a cliff.  Granted, it's not like it is now.  But defense was absolutely horrible.  As an example, RVN scored 62 goals in 67 games for PSV once R9 left.  Great striker obviously... but that ratio was absurd for that era.

You watched the dutch league for goals, not defending.  You watch Ligue 1 because it's athletic and there's a lot of defending, not necessarily for attacking styles because most teams play a pragmatic style.

The dutch league was good through the 80s because pre-Bosman ruling kept talent in the league.  Post Bosman, like most secondary leagues, it struggled.  But they weren't picking off kids before the age of 20... back then, the transfers occurred at age 23ish.  So these leagues tended to be young and exciting.  Ligue 1's advantage was sheer numbers compared to the others...  we just developed a ton of talent so, even if you picked off the best, there was still plenty behind it.

Just how it is... whether you guys want to admit it or not.

I mean believe what you want

Mbappe played for his leagues most attacking team in the last 2 seasons. His teams scored more league goals per game than PSV did with Ronaldo but whatever. Ronaldo also scored goals at the same ratio in Brasil for 2 years before he was even 18. There was no drop in international club matches for Ronaldo either and when he finally moved to Barcelona (I know he turned 20 then) there was no drop either which again at least reinforces the idea that there was no massive gap in quality.

It doesn't even matter if the dutch league was the best league in the world back then. Not even if it was a top 3 league back then. Because neither is the french league now

Tbh Sports i didn't see much different from usual, he was great whenever he got the ball it's just France for some reason ( and this isn't the first time it's happened) hardly play through him at all
