Good 2nd half but poor 1st half.
United's 1000000m £ team is just embarrassing.
It's a weird one, despite spending all that money their team still looks so average for a big club.

United tried to fix a rotten old banger with millions of pounds worth of patches. It's not working

If we're going to play with the same tactics and intensity at home for the rest of the season, we're going to do all right.
If United are going to play with the same tactics and intensity away from home for the rest of the season, they're going to battle it out with Southampton.

this game In the first 5 minutes it was clear that Moutinho was playing as usual with his poverty mentality. Sadly we could not punish them. I hope Moutinho plays the same shit football against other teams also

Been ill as *bleep* for 5 days, barely sleeping at night. Coughing 24/7 to the point my ribs are painful but i'm almost better now.
And i'd rather reset the whole process and go back to day 1 than watch that game ever again.

Manchester United midfielder Ander Herrera speaking to Sky Sports: "We just tried to win every duel, every battle, every ball. We knew it would be a good fight.
"We can be proud. We wanted to win but I think we showed we are a big team, we are going to fight for everything and I am proud of every teammate."

ManUtd fans justifying Mourinhos tactics. Unbelievable what Mourinho can do to the poor fans of any club where he goes.
Btw, our midfield needs to do better in such games.

The response post-match is pretty typical. Mourinho and United will get slaughtered for their defensive tactics which will mask the fact that Klopp and Liverpool failed to come up with anything that would turn the game in their favour and break down a good defence.

This was a must win game for pretty much both teams. However, Liverpool turned up to win, United turned up to not loseJay29 wrote:The response post-match is pretty typical. If Mourinho directed Die Hard it'd be 90 minutes of Bruce Willis hiding in a cupboard, then applauding his tactics for not getting shot.

On a side note, Liverpool's team bar a few guys looks very average. Klopp is making them look much better than they actually are. they should've signed a midfielder and a LB at least. A striker would have done too.

Look on the bright side lads. We usually lose to scrub teams that park the bus and play long balls. Breaking up the midfield that's been playing so well for us is what killed us in that game. To many changes to the team.

I'm not justifying United's approach or anything but I'm enjoying the irony that Liverpool fans are calling them average and cowardly when their super in-form team couldn't even break them down.

Yes absolutely, The thing is that the system is in place. We need better players in the same roles as the current ones. Klopp has had just one window and he hates to spend, So im not too worried and im also not expecting success overnight.

More like a must not lose for both teams. Especially Man Utd.
