What a *bleep* knobhead, says the guy who has won 1 out of his last 8 games.RealGunner wrote:Jurgen Klopp: "For sure you could not play this way at Liverpool, but it's OK for Manchester United."
This "we are holier than thou" narrative needs to stop honestly, it's one of the biggest reasons why we are stuck being a midtable club for the past decade and have become an absolute laughing stock.

Sorry for my late contribution, United's strategy put me into a coma. Just woke up

Mourinho is such a coward. If he played with 20% positivity attacking wise, he would have had the game won. Pool struggles to keep clean sheets against scrubs and this guy has the PL top scorer starting for him.

In 2 visits to Anfield as @ManUtd manager, Jose Mourinho's side have had 2 shots on target in 180 mins. Zlatan last year, Lukaku this year.

And yet he's having the last laugh. The stat could also be rephrased as: In Man Utd's last 2 visits to Anfield, Jurgen Klopp's "exciting" Liverpool have failed to score a single goal despite having 2348923532 shots.

Yea exactly.
We get trashed at Anfield every season now. I'd love to have 0 shot on target, 0 off target, 0 corners, 0 throw ins, 0 counter attacks, 10 passes and get a point ffs

Sure he was looking to get sacked by December with Chelsea. Or a 2-2 draw at Stoke just a bit ago.
You didn't watch the game. That explains it lmao. He was a pussy, which we expect. I can praise him for the result if his team had kept Pool at bay but they didn't, the only reason they got a result was superhuman goalkeeping and Pool's really poor finishing, ironically.

Why was a supposed title contender parking the bus against a midtable team? It's pathetic

Re: Liverpool Vs Manchester United - The Derby that can't be unseen
This is why I will never ever get on board the Mourinho train. THE WORST I have seen we play in 2 or may be more years. Absolutely disgusting performance. Self righteous United fans can mock Klopp and the Scouse all they want for their apparent 'butthurtness' after the match. But if they cant see this coward is here only because he want to achieve something for himself, for the the short term, and leave the club in even worse state than he came, then well..
Him justifying his piss tactics and blaming Klopp was lol I cant even.... Spineless mug. We absolutely dont deserve anything this season as far as the league goes.

Re: Liverpool Vs Manchester United - The Derby that can't be unseen
It was one of the worst Man United performances in the last 30 years.
Liverpool was beatable, but Mourinho wasn't able to tell the players that they need to be more dynamic. They were static and every player was just waiting for the ball without trying any runs or moves. Of course you can't pass the ball if your players don't help each other. Problem is that it was a puerile thing and simple thing, all the balls went to De Gea and boom, so it was absolutely impossible for us to score because we played like a 3rd division team from Romania.
We did that the whole game. Can you imagine that?
At least Liverpool ran a lot and had the attitude to win the physical duels. We were completely left out of the game because of Mou's tactics. But with all the respect, a Fergie side would have killed this Liverpool side.

Lol you are overreacting due to your own heightened expectations after smashing some awful teams.
It's not even the worst performance from you under Mourinho that I'VE seen. Hell i'd make the argument you have performed worse against US in the last 5 years alone than you did on Saturday against Liverpool.

And yes there were expectations. But those expectations didnt stem from our victories like you said. Instead it came from seeing Pool's campaign so far. This fixture last season, Mourinho adopted a more or less similar approach. But back then Pool were the in-form team. PTBing when you are expected to lose and PTBing when you are expected to win are different things.
I know the usual drivel that form goes out of the window in derbies and stuff. And even when we were dominating the league under SAF we struggled against the Scouse lot.
All that are valid points. But SAF has never instructed his team to go out and play 9-0-1. I literally felt sick in my gut watching we play.
The whole world knows how shite they are at the back. Some effing intent and we could gotten a win. But the coward put the entire team in our half and devised his gameplan around lumping the ball to Lukaku.

Btw absolutely done with this "derby"
Has only lead to extreme disappointment. It had its day but it's no longer a game to get excited for. Spurs-Chelsea has become a much better derby than this in recent years

that’s because spurs and Chelsea are much smaller clubs so less pressure to beat a rivalCBarca wrote:Btw absolutely done with this "derby"
