The Expanse is very good. Watch it. I don't think it's similar to Star Wars at all. I haven't seen one GLer who hasn't like it.

I'm liking the 24 reboot so far (but it is very early days).

Also, I started Taboo, fantastic show. Tom Hardy is immense in this series.

Yeah but writers said there will be links and to expect a few characters from season 1 reappearing. Season 1 was linked with the movie through the buried money, Season 2 had Molly's father as the protagonist and was kind of a prequel and other characters showed up too.

I think it's been enough time since I watched season 1 now and I can watch season 2 without comparing. I'll try to do it before Season 3

Watch the movie too. It makes season 1 even better.

I don't watch much British TV nowadays but the last month or two I've been catching this new comedy show 'This Country'. I'ts unreal. Getting really good reviews here. I think it's the best British comedy since Inbetweeners. Very Office like in it's delivery. Really authentic. I don't think it would be something for non UK natives though as it's not as accessible to foreign watchers. @RealGunner check it out man. Think it's 6 eps of 20 mins.

Anybody watch international spy thriller The Night Manager?

It's only 6 episodes on Amazon Prime with Tom Hiddleston and Hugh Laurie.

I'm 4 episodes in and it's fantastic. Much better version of Homeland but with focus on corruption/fraud rather than terrorism. It's very well made and acted.

100% worth a watch if you're looking for a quick binge.

Watched half an hour of the new Dave Chappelle stand up on netflix. Guy is easily the best there is :bow:

Prime Eddie Murphy :banderas: I'm not big on standup, tbh the only guy I've watched in recent memory is Bill Burr, he's alright. But I watched all of Eddie Murphy's stuff from the 80s or 90s a couple years back and it still holds up well. Dude was legit.

I noticed that Netflix are throwing mad money at stand up guys for specials though, Chris Rock, Chapelle and IIRC Kevin James, who I imagine absolutely sucks.
