Bayer Leverkusen star Julian Brandt reportedly has a release clause in his contract that stands at just €12.5million.

But it can only be activated in the summer of 2018, according to German newspaper Express.

Liverpool are one of the teams allegedly mulling over a move for the wing sensation, who has become a regular in the Leverkusen line-up.

The 20-year-old has also been linked with Manchester City, Bayern Munich, Juventus and AC Milan.

If the Reds want to beat their rivals to the punch, they will likely have to pay above the odds over the next couple of transfer windows.

Liverpool are tracking the progress of Germany defender Jonathan Tah ahead of a potential January move, according to The Mirror.

Jurgen Klopp is keen on adding another defender to his back line and the Bayer Leverkusen youngster has emerged as a target.

The 20-year-old has emerged as one of Europe’s best young centre backs since his £7 million move to Hamburg in 2015, and Klopp is keen to add him to a centre-back roster that already includes Dejan Lovren, Mamadou Sakho, Joel Matip and Ragnar Klavan.

Tah already has two caps for Germany, with the first coming in the 3-2 defeat to England back in March.

It is also believed that Klopp intends to increase competition for places in the forward areas too, despite his side’s free-scoring form.

It's like the Liverpool scouts have been really listening to me lately. Been calling for Promes for years, and same with Wijnaldum. I hope we get him...he'd be a perfect replacement for Mané and could even surpass him pretty easily. He's got it all and the versatility to slot in perfectly to that front 3 that Klopp loves.

According to Gazzetta, Belotti (who has a deal until 2020) will sign an extension to 2021 and increase his salary to 1.5 mill/season. With a release clause of 94 mill valid only for teams outside of Serie A.

Promes is decent, not Mane level but pretty damn good. He is a RW/LW/CAM & is good on all 3 spots. Has lit Russia up & would be really good for Liverpool.

Wijnaldum is okay, shouldn't be starting in a top team, bit of a headless chicken off, I used to like him when he was a RW with Feyenoord when he was 15-16 odd

Liverpool should also buy Van Dijk - Put that 40-45M in - He will be one of the best CB's in the world & would make Matip like a star!

Tah is very good, I would say if Van Dijk is too expensive then go for him. Tah would be great in Dortmund IMO but is probably too expensive for them

Tah, Sule (young CB's) & Howedes, Toprak (experienced CB's) are the ones to buy!!

Mane is not a level above Promes tbh. Promes is better in a few ways and brings a lot of same elements. I actually think that Promes is better but w/e, and under Klopp's coaching could reach an even higher level still.

Bazoer played good for a few months. Then he played terrible for months and de Boer dropped him.
Then Bosz came in, played him a few times and decided to drop him as well afterwards. Since then he's watching our games from the bench.

You can decide for yourself if you consider that pl ready.

Bazoer needs to leave to allow superior talents like Van de Beek & Nouri to play. He is not good enough to start at Ajax but IMO is the type of player Conte likes & wants!

Juventus could recall Pol Lirola early from his loan spell at Sassuolo to assuage the injury crisis in defence.
