Martial vs Dymbala
Both are similar although on opposite flanks. They move into the channels and are better playing off a #9 and cutting in from the flanks. Martial seems to be stuck out on the wing now but he is capable of playing Ss / CF.
Currently who's better and who do you think will have a brighter future?

Re: Martial vs Dymbala
Currently, Dybala is comfortably better.
For the future, its hard to say, I do think like Aubameyang, CF is where Martial's potential lies. We can't say for how long Martial is gonna be stuck on the wing. If he remains an inside forward then I see Dybala having the brighter future.

Re: Martial vs Dymbala
Dybala is a lot better right now but Martial is also younger, we'll see.
I'm biased of course, but I don't see any young forward as talented as Dybala right now (excluding Neymar cause he is already established). The kid just does everything right in the game.

Dybala by a margin.
Martial won't be as good as he's hyped to be right now. That goes for a lot of French players with African descent really

Re: Martial vs Dymbala
Dybala is further along right now... it helps that he's being emphasized. He's also 22 while Martial is 20.
I think the better comparison is Dybala with guys like Pogba and Verratti, who are both 23.

Re: Martial vs Dymbala
Martial is much better. Doing it in a tougher league, carried an average Utd team last season. At the age of 20, big price tag, big pressure and yet looked unphased. A natural talent.

Re: Martial vs Dymbala
Why is it wrong? Let's compare Dybala at 20 and Martial at 20... that's a better comparison. In 2013, Dybala scored 5 goals for Palermo in 30 games.
Let's wait until Martial gets a chance to develop and then compare him. If you want to compare Martial to young undeveloped talents like Dembele, Coman, Asensio, etc., that's fine.
However, if you insist on making a comparison REGARDLESS of age, then of course Dybala is better today. Far better.

Dybala is quite comfortably better in my opinion
He put together a monstrous last season and doesn't look like he is slowing down

Re: Martial vs Dymbala
Lot of people (non Juve fans I meant Juve fans are just biased and butthurt ) are presenting their opinion based on the 3-4 matches this season totally disregarding what happened last year. Martial is in a rough patch lately owing to his personal life. The boy is even having trouble seeing his kid I have heard. Even proper adults will find it hard to get over a situation like that, and we are talking about a 20 year old boy here.
'Dymbala' is playing for a wc team(according to Juve fans that is) with wc players all around him in a weaker league with no real threat as far as opposition teams are concerned barring 2 or 3. And he is playing in his preferred position. Plus he's got a system and quality coach that suits his style. You cant ask for a more fertile soil than that tbh to prosper.
Martial on the other hand
1.Played on the wing last year
2.At 19 opposition defenders were doubling upon him as he was our only attacking threat and yet was easily our best 2nd best player after DDG.
3.Surrounded by utter turds around him, the likes of rooney and rojo
4. In a system coached by a clown negative pos who restricts players freedom and to run with the ball most times.
5. Most expensive youngster and the pressure that came along with it ofc.
On top of what @Sports mentioned. He's 2 years junior ffs. Fair comparison in every sense I reckon.
Wont ever swap the 2 btw even if Martial struggle for the whole season owing to his problems in personal life. The kid's destined to make it big (once he gets shifted to the center (now dont know if it will happen at United with Rashford breaking through, he may leave 3-4 years later (to Barca hopefully)) and people who are dismissing him right now will realize they were wrong thats all.

Re: Martial vs Dymbala
Martial was starting to look like Martial with France. As Deschamps mentioned, Martial was focusing far too much on his tactical positions in comparison to others as opposed to just playing... during both games, Deschamps kept telling him "Take risks. Don't worry, go for it!" as the sideline reporter for TF1 who stands next to Deschamps mentioned in-game.
That's kind of what I worry about for him this season... You have Ibra, Rooney and Pogba that are basically boxing Martial into a very narrow role and position on the left side. He's not that kind of player. He needs freedom to express himself.
Oh an 100% of Juve fans saying Dybala and 100% of Man U fans saying Martial doesn't really prove anything

I agree, but even the neutrals aint seeing the full picture I'm afraid.
Regarding the freedom to express part though, I disagree. He is getting enough room and chances to run with the ball on the left flank but is finding it hard to beat a player as compared to last season. He even has a massive upgrade as compared to last season Luke Shaw besides him to link up with. Its clearly cos his head's not there in it right. His confidence is shot big time.
Not worried in the slightest btw. The kid's immensely talented that its just a matter of time he will find his way back in. Zlatan and Rooney wont play forever for us. Max 2 seasons and both will be out.

Re: Martial vs Dymbala
Every attacking player that is of a decent level looks better when they have room to express themselves. Generally this means the team is built more around them rather than them conforming to the team. However, this is generally reserved for the best player or best few players on the team and needs to be earned.
Martial hasn't even separated himself from someone like Origi let alone coming close to the ability of Dybala.
I don't disagree with sports though in the sense that Martial vs. Dybala is probably a bad comparison not only from their situation and position but also for their relative level of development and such. I would take Dybala over Pogba and we got to watch them on the same team last year though.
I would say for comparison you're looking at more this list of players:
Martial, Asensio, Berardi, Janssen, Sterling, Sané, Coman, Silva (Bernardo), Inaki, Brandt, Mihajlovic, Jota and Origi
Personally I think of that group Asensio, Sterling (eff that dude) and Brandt will be the best three. Guys like Lo Celso, Bernardeschi and even Memphis could still make it into that tier but need to show more (Memphis needs to get his head on straight).
