Isn't 3 teams going for the title competitive? In comparison to 1 in Serie A, 1 in Bundesliga, 1 in ligue 1 and 2 in La liga?

That's a fair point, but let's not overlook the fact that this year's PL will probably come down to Pep's Man City and Phelan's Hullcester. Two horse race IMO.

Difference in EPL too is that other than the big 3, you have another 3-4 teams that can easily beat them too such as Arsenal, Liverpool, Tottenham and even West Ham (at West Ham). The gap is really small.
Let's not forget is was just last year that Leicester won the PL with Arsenal 2nd and the Spurs 3rd. So it's not like any of this is set in stone by any means, which is the case with the other leagues. Chelsea, City and Man U collapsing (to varying degrees) was completely unexpected.

Chelsea have faced West Ham, Watford, and Burnley
Man City have faced Sunderland, Stoke, and West Ham
Man Utd have faced Leicester, Hull, Bournemouth, and Soton
Out of these, only Leicester and West Ham (?) are the teams worth giving a shit about.
No one's running away with anything.. calma.gif

3 games in and people are already talking about how competitive the EPL will shape up to be based on it
Give it a couple more weeks lmao
Except for Pep's City, who will obviously win

It's been 3 games ffs.
None of those teams look anything special yet. The most impressive team so far has been Liverpool who went to two tough away grounds and absolutely battered top quality opposition.

My friend is going to be in England during a Man U vs Liverpool match apparently. He wants to know how feasible it is to get tickets and what kind of price range he would be looking at. Any of the brits here have any helpful words?

West Ham without Payet is shit too. Full strength WH will be a legit team. Lucky Chelsea and Man City! Got to face them when their big names were all out.

The problem with Liverpool is that this is nothing new. They show up for the tough games and they look great in them almost every year. It's that they never seem to be able to be consistent or break down teams that aren't coming to play...not to mention it seems like it doesn't matter how dominant they are they're always a brainfart away from giving up a goal. It's incredibly frustrating.
It wouldn't be surprising for Liverpool to have one of the best records against the top 6 teams this season, but drop more points against mid or bottom table teams than any other top team.

Its very easy to get tickets to a United home game compared to rest of the tourist big 4. They are sometimes available till the last moment.
You always have twitter and general sales that make it more easier.
