Or maybe not...
It's been 3 games ffs.
None of those teams look anything special yet. The most impressive team so far has been Liverpool who went to two tough away grounds and absolutely battered top quality opposition.
we need at least Can or Lucas fit for the whole season to achieve anything tangible in this season. Can more than lucas actually. He is the only type of midfielder who can controll the games to certain extent, though he himself must improve this season. So signing Wij and letting Allen go looks like a big gamble. Allen is the type of player who might have made a difference in Spurs game had he come for last 30 min or so.

Liverpool are not even good enough, simple as. We do this every year and it's always the same result, they lack quality.
The league is between Chelsea and the Mancs and we'll judge them accordingly as the season progresses as their quality level is far above those below them and it's not like the coaching level isn't.

Quite surprised Tottenham sold Chadli. They haven't got many wingers plus Chadli's decent. Good for WBA, though.

Its very easy to get tickets to a United home game compared to rest of the tourist big 4. They are sometimes available till the last moment.
You always have twitter and general sales that make it more easier.
Should have mentioned, it's at Anfield :/

Difficult at Anfield but can always try and see if someone is selling it. Price will be absurd

Either Poch has gone mad and thinks he can rely on 18/19/20 year old kids for a bench or Spurs are going to have a fun last couple days of August. I think both.

I rate Chadli. Good signing for WBA. Can see him leaving for a decent team again in a couple seasons now he will get proper game time.

Yeah I don't agree with the decision. I can only assume Chadli wants more game time and won't get it at Spurs. Son is definitely a better player though. Chadli is also kind of a lazy pos, but he was someone who was a legitimate threat from the bench.
Kind of surprised the likes of Everton, Soton, Leicester didn't want him. He's good enough for those teams easily.

I don't think anybody actually has us anywhere near title contention this season. We lack quality in the most important part of the pitch (midfield).
Our glaring weaknesses from last season were our midfield, LB, and GK. We've ONLY improved on one of those glaring weaknesses (GK) and sadly the guy is injured
Otherwise we strengthened our attack and center of defense both of which were not the main problems at all. Top 4 contention is possible though.

Agreed.
Top 4 is obtainable tbh, I don't rate Spurs much and Arsenal's depends on how good Mustafi and Perez actually are.
But we'll see that over the next few weeks.

What do you mean with 'actually'? Both have already played numerous professional seasons, they are as good as they are good.
Their goodness does not become more 'actual' just because they're moving into your line of sight.

Well I don't watch much football so I obviously am quite ignorant on this subject.

Me neither but let's be honest Perez is going to be meh.
I mean how good can he be?
He's not going to be actually good.
