Also the fact that he has one job only. Affleck is close to Reeves for me. Though I prefer Reeves for big budget movies. Affleck would have too much to do with all roles in it. Now it's "just" producing and acting.

Gibson just says things though. Don't know how much his bipolar disorder is a reason for that. Also to be fair to him. Mostly his comments was about studios putting too much money into making these movies and that he could do it cheaper. Doubt the studios would mind that tbf.

The comment about real superheroes was probably just to promote his own stuff. I never took the comments as a huge insult to the genre.

He never took a shit on the genre except express his criticism on their huge budgets. He has said he don't know why they would cost this much, since he's never done green screen movies. He even expressed he might do a movie himself to find out if they need to cost that much.

Tom Hardy already is Wolverine IRL. Only one I can see taking over at this point.

Jackman is/was perfect. The next one proably won't be able to compete, maybe if its Tom Hardy but still not sure. Can he really have that asshole stoic side Wolverine shows? Hardy always seems much more eloquent.

His Mad Max role with a new hairstyle would seem pretty much like Wolverine to me. Guy is silent and crazy in a lot of roles.
