I am no fan of AC Milan, but comparing their results in Europe to Roma's (or Juventus's) is silly.

7-1 twice. 6-1 once.
This is kind compared to those annihilations.

We would, even though we suck.
I just can't believe I hyped up Roma, never again. They've fooled me one too many times ffs.

Roma's squad is miles better than Milan but the weak mentality and these implosions and are unique to Roma amongst Serie A teams. No one fights themselves as much they do. Even Palermo manages to underachieve less.

Coefficients won't matter if the new CL gets approved.

It's the loser mentality. Doesn't matter how good these players are, how good the coach is....it's in this club's DNA. Every 20 years or so, the stars align, the Earth rotates just right on it's axis and we win something meaningful...and then it's another 20-30 years of obscurity.
It's not our time yet.....by my watch, we have another decade.

Is Chelsea still going to go for 9golan?
A 9golan - Matic - Kante midfield is what Conte dreams of.

Roma is more of a Europa League team anyway. Watching this, I doubt they will do much better in the EL, though.

Porto are EL quality themselves tbh. If this is what an EL-caliber team can do to us, we don't deserve EL football either.
Whatever. Now we have to deal with the cash and player drain that is the EL. That's our punishment. And we damn well better take it like men.

Nope, he's still somewhere in the lower rungs of Inter, I think.
He never came back to Roma.

Nothing , but they won't improve the team. My Roman sources talked about Roma close to sign Borja Valero

When the third placed teams can't qualify for CL . One place should be revoked , not added. It has become closer to Ligue 1 than to top leagues.
It was clear even before than yesterday tbh.
There is just a big team to compete against the nothing and besides it signs the best players from alleged contenders

Roma exit boosts Juve and Napoli
By Football Italia staff
Roma’s Champions League exit not only damages them financially, but it boosts the coffers of Juventus and Napoli.
The Giallorossi crashed out of the competition in the preliminary round, losing 4-1 on aggregate to Porto, and will enter the Europa League group phase instead.
This changes the way the money from the Champions League, including TV rights, are divided up.
Roma will only get €10m, while the remaining €100m will be split between Juventus and Napoli.
The first €50m is divided thusly: €27.5m to Juventus and €22.5m to Napoli (55 per cent to 45 per cent).
The second €50m will depend on how many games they each take part in during the course of the Champions League.
A big THANK YOU to Roma for the extra cash, we really needed it tbh...

Looks like Roma could have used Pjanic today. And Napoli could have used Higuain last weekend...

We've lost worse games with Pjanic on the pitch, it would've changed nothing.
