Because Mandzukic is much stronger with his back to goal and Morata failed to cement a starting place due to a lack of consistency in his goal scoring specifically. To be fair though, he was used quite freely by Allegri in many different situations. The role suits him and I think he'll do well with Real in the same.

I hope Mandzukic stays but we'll see what happens. He's a player that definitely wants to play so I wouldn't be surprised if he does leave but there's been radio silence regarding his future. Most are talking of Zaza leaving.

I can't see him leaving when Juve are looking to sell Zaza yeah, but I do think he won't be happy playing second choice

I'm sure some mediocre PL team would gladly offer you 15-20m for Mandzu and he's getting old now, seems better to keep Young John Zaza as a backup for Higuain? Unless Juve sell both and buy a decent backup (Rooney)

So from what I can understand atm Madrid are waiting to see if Pogba to United happens. If it does then Sissoko comes in. If the deal can't be reached then Madrid will come in for Pogba.

Mandzukic's agent came out to say that Higuain coming would be good with them. I think he is sure to stay. Zaza wants to play so one of him or Mandzukic has to go. We've accepted bids for Zaza already so that seems to be the plan.
