Kova is being sent on loan (allegedly) to continue his "development" or whatever. Don't get me wrong, Andre Gomes is a good footballer but I'm really not sure what he would offer to Madrid.

Thanks. It was a bit crazy. The terrorist attack happened right next door to me and it really hit home. Mostly families with kids got killed, which really was depressing. I walked the Promenade des Anglais in Nice when they opened and seeing all the flowers all over the place was pretty gut wrenching...

Disliking Raiola and having a good relationship with Mendes doesn't equate in us going after Gomes.

Whether he likes it or not, every single signing we make is going to have Z's name on it. He seems content with the squad we have and apparently he doesn't plan on making any signings.

Granted, this could be a strategy to show other clubs that we're not desperate for their players. But there aren't that many talented players out there, and we're not the only club going after them.

If he's planning on dragging it until the last day, he might not have anybody decent left to sign. And if he's truly content about the squad we have right now, then Houston, we have a problem.

Pogba is out because of cost (would have cost 250M including 5 years of salary (gross including taxes)).

Several of you were concerned about Kroos. this way you have Modric, Casemiro, Kroos starting backed up by Gomes, Isco and Marcus Llorente (if they don't sign another DM)

The only issue is paying 60M for a backup, but is that really a concern for fans, if club is ok with it?
