Interesting what his role is this tournament. He's a target man who actually holds up the ball very well. And he scores loads of goals. Dare I say his link up and passing has been excellent
One thing is for sure. He is a central player now.
Agreed Kommander leading Portugal to their best era in their history ffs

I still can't believe it. Ronaldo has finally learnt to play his back to goal and link up. This to me as a madrid fan is more impressive then his goals

Shows how much he wanted to help Portugal. had a bit of a difficult time at first but really grew into the role.

Re: SF: Portugal vs Wales
More than his header goal that weighted through ball on a platter to find Nani for that game winner was the highlight of the match.
To think there are people who think kommander can't make a through ball to save life they should save their life before it's late.

Considering he's about to play a monster team in either Germany or France, I'd be disappointed if I get trolled. Now if it was a baby team.. Well that's acceptable

I'm only joking, I, personally, do not partake in such actions.
I recently got around to watching Ronaldo's documentary (great watch for those who haven't seen it), and he said something along the lines of, "people remember teams that win trophies, not if they played well". It's something that resonates with this Portugal team, it's much better to play poorly and still be able to win rather than be one of those teams that crush everyone in group play only do come up short early in the knockout stage.
Ronaldo's had an average tournament I'd say, for his standards but he's about to play in another final, 12 years after playing one in Portugal at just 19. Sadly, I think the result will be the same.

Portugal has 8 goals, Ronaldo directly involved in 6 of them.
Ronaldo has 3 goals and 3 assists, joint top with Griezzman for the most involved offensive player.
He also has 2 UEFA MOTM's.
Grinding out dem stats despite having a poor tournament

Re: SF: Portugal vs Wales
I was cheering for Wales but I'm pulling for Ronaldo. Nobody has worked harder to get where he is right now in the sport. Love him or hate him I really hope, as a football fan, one can learn to respect what he's achieved, and if Portugal win the Euro, with a team that is surely inferior to a lot of the teams they've already played...well, what a massive achievement it would be indeed.

All kidding aside, Portugal should be proud of themselves for reaching the final.

Re: SF: Portugal vs Wales
If Portugal play well in the final and deservedly best Germany/France I will be the first to admit I was wrong and give them the credit they deserve.
But I will be extremely annoyed if a team that finished third in the easiest group in Euro history and had the easiest path to the final I've seen in my lifetime wins this tournament off a bad refereeing decision or some other stroke of luck.

Stop spreading slander against the Lord Kommander.
Our lord did the R1+X power pass from FIFA 16 to assist the goal.
