Just spoke to Coutinho in mixed zone: 'I'm fine. It was just cramp. Nothing more."

Well at the minute it isn't wrong. I mean imagine the fun that would be had at Arsenal if Wenger just threw caution to the wind and got a world class striker. Ozil and Sanchez would have a field day with assists.

I have to say I think mane will have a very good season. cost a big chunk of cash but the guy has hit the ground running.

He seems built to do well in a system like Klopp's
But isn't it an AFCON year? may lose him for a bit and I really hate how this tournament is mid season for Europe, player's don't come back the same

He played very well today, in the first half he was the only Liverpool player who was willing to run at Arsenal and was very confident in doing so. He is exactly the type of attacker than Klopp likes, fast, strong, good shot and works his bollocks off even worked back quite a lot today.
It's funny how when we were 1-3 up today Carra said he didn't trust our defence and we would need more goals, he hit the nail on the head with that eh

Can't stand it just for the timing.
You work all summer to get into shape for the club season, halfway through you go to another continent to play a rapid set of games in a short period of time and then you return to your club and try to close out the season with whats left of your form

Yeah I hate the AFCON, it always ruins the form and run of most african players. I can't think of too many who have come back from it and still be top of their game, they all seem to filter in and out of starting/being a sub and blowing hot and cold. *bleep* that.

Last I checked Arsenal were *bleep* SECOND PLACE in the league last seaon, only beaten by a club who bought no nnames and which those clowns didn't spend a second thinking about.
Every year they bitch and moan, recycle and regurgicate their resentful, tired talking points. "Mentality". "Spend money". "Won't make top 4"
Every year Arsene leads Arsenal to top 4, EVERY YEAR.
These clowns should stfu and show some *bleep* humility and respect.
The only ones who are allowed to complain about Arsene are Arsenal fans.
Everyone else needs to bow down and *bleep* salute the man.
pretty strong contradiction to what you were saying a few months ago if you ask me

One straight red, two yellow-reds. But that's quite normal for him. He got sent off two times the season before, too ^^ He hopes that it might be better in the PL as he hopes the refs might be more lenient.Unique wrote:yeah he get sent off 3 times last season I think as well.LoveSlug wrote:If Xhaka had started today he would have seen a red card. He made about 5 or 6 fouls when he came on as a sub, he'll need to knock that on the head very soon or he'll struggle to finish 90 minutes.

If he had started, instead of coming on at 1-4 or 2-4, I am sure there wouldn't have been a need to make 5 or 6 fouls in 25 odd minutes.

Re: English Premier League '16-'17 Discussion
Granit Xhaka is a notorious hothead. He probably has the advantage that English refs don't know him yet as the German refs usually already prepared to draw a yellow as soon as he got near any opposition player. It only got better after he was made Gladbach's captain as then the refs got slightly more lenient with him (in the 2014/15 season he got 10 yellows and in the 2015/16 season this was halved to 5, albeit with two yellow-reds and a straight red, plus Schubert subbed him off in two or three games to spare him the next yellow-red).

Re: English Premier League '16-'17 Discussion
Yes, but he is also maturing as a player. So it is logical to expect more calmness to his game.
Van Persie was a notorious hothead and we all saw how he turned out after some years at Arsenal.
