All these new features are great.

But the real thing we need is the end of freaking scripted games in FUT.

With everything that's coming out in September-October those who say they won't get it have no reason to tbh.

Reus isn't even FIFA God anymore tbh he was utter shit on this FIFA compared to last few.

Getting this day 1 probably, not like there's many multiplayer games I could give a shit about these days so it'll be FIFA and maybe battlefield for me.

I'm a career mode junkie so that's really all I care about these days. I'm playing FUT more though. Very curious about what new features they're bringing to that mode outside of the Journey.

Also - Will be able to choose the replacement captain during a game instead of having it choose for us? hmm...doubtful.

Never been good with Reus on fifa personally. Guy just doesn't have the agility for a winger nor strength to play up.

Same for me. It's kind of frustrating because he always have wonderful stats, but feels so sloppy. That's why i never choose BVB in online seasons and use Ribery/Schurrle in Fut.

Reus is a clumsy fat asshole on FIFA this Year unless you're lucky enough to catch him making a good run.

What with interceptions this year being disgusting even when you skin somebody with Reus they automatically stick a leg out on the turn and dispossess him any way

Not many GOAT wingers on this FIFA they need mad acceleration, agility and ball control.

Until interceptions and that ridiculous superspeed pressing stuff is cut out, every FIFA will have games where 80% of the game takes place on the wings. Because by the time even somebody like Iniesta controls a simple pass in the middle of the pitch, 3 people have sprinted at 200mph towards him and are sticking a leg out ready to block anything except a pass to the full back/winger.

Disgusting.

It's vintage FIFA, same with crosses. Last year crosses were pin point perfect, AI attackers heading was almost perfect and AI defence couldn't read crosses. So crosses were god level OP

Now normal crosses barely work, Goalkeepers can punch through attackers heads and 5'8 full backs can stop Crouch getting a high cross as long as they're in the defenders box.

The only way to cross efficiently now is to cut back and in swing it. Crossing is terrible.

If it's OP they'll eventually break it. If it's broken they'll make it OP.

This FIFA is easily the worst in recent memory. As a guy who likes to play tiki taka and build through the wings, controlling the ball in those tight areas were a pain. As soon as I'd pass the ball, my player's first touch when receiving was awful.

I eventually started pressing l1 and then l2 before I received the ball, and they control it perfectly. I'm not sure if that's known, but I stumbled across it while playing. Laughing

As for crossing it ain't like the good 'ol days. You actually have to choose a certain type of cross depending on the situation ffs.

I usually use the near post cross. I double tap cross and flick the RS up. Most of my goals are from crosses and that's my main tool.

If I see a player on the far post, I do the normal cross.

If I'm near the penalty box and it's filled with players, I just low cross and hope for the best.

If I'm on the touchline and cutting inside, I do the swinging cross. I think it's r1 and cross.

I miss the days when you could press l1+y and give it to a player on the wing who will immediately have a 1v1 with the goalie. Nowadays, I use the regular lob passing on manual. Your winger will get on a 1v1, but usually, if you win it, you'll find that the defense is back in position smh.

Speaking of the OTT throughball, it used to be so easy to do. If you play a RAM/RF, they would occupy the LCB and LB, so your RW would be free. Nowadays, the opposition winger occupies your winger.

Cristiano Ronaldo should not have the defensive workrate of prime Cafu ffs.

Wish I could say the same but lack of MP games means i'd have to end up watching TV instead and every single time I try watching tv I want to kill myself after 15 minutes.

So i'll put up with FIFA. Not putting up with Shit Halo AKA Infinite warfare though unless it surprises everybody and has amazing MP
