I'll accept that maybe a bit silly but Utd are now firmly in "no excuses" territory. A lot of expectations need to be addressed this season.

I disagree.

Not winning the PL title last year was a failure, finishing 6th only made it more laughable.

Now this season, i don't see why Man Utd should not be considered serious title contenders again.

So so glad we didn't sign him.

Lukaku isn't even a bad player. Actually, a very good player.
He deserves better than what happened to him at United. He's a proven goalscorer, a team player, a professional.
He'd have deserved to join Conte's Chelsea, who actually wanted him, or Conte's Inter, who actually want him again.
But Juve, it just doesn't make much sense.

For top players the game is meant to be enjoyed and when you take that from them they simply do not play to the best of their abilities.
