It's not judging by his last 2 albums. Remember when he released backseat freestyle & single version of 'I' for GKMC & TPAB?
I expect the album to be much different than Humble.

Kendrick murdered it with HUMBLE. The music video is one of the best I've ever seen.
That arrogant swagger, showing these weak mumbling rappers how easy it is to put out verse after verse in that format and still merking them. Telling 'em to be humble while dressed as the freaking pope

Adding that to my list on Spotify.
Just finished second listen of Future's new albums.
"Rent Money" was pretty savage all around. Probably the one track I listened to more than the others. And that skit at the end ("A gram?!"
). Mask Off, Sorry, and Draco were all pretty good too.
Oh and heard this from Lupe Fiasco. Loved it instantly.
Never heard of Dave East, but had listened to a fair amount of A$AP Ferg so I knew this track would be worth a listen:

That Kendrick joint is immediately enhanced by the video. One of the best rap videos I've ever seen. One of the best music videos I've ever seen, period. Best shots imo are the shot where he's in all black with the bald guys and the one with flames on their heads.
The song itself is good heat but nothing crazy. I think it grew on me a lot quicker cos I couldn't stop watching the video.

Side note: I think Drake's next project needs to be a double project like Game's Documentary 2 & 2.5. Make one a pure 100% rap album and make the other one a 100% pop album. This whole mixing shit has him all over the place and now he's adding this faux grime side he's supposedly adopted to it. He seems confused tbh.

Am I not up to date or why are we just talking about Humble and not also The Heart Part Four?
The heart part four is much better I'm though I enjoyed Humble.
Anyway, Kendrick isn't someone you judge based on a couple songs. This is great but Kendrick's albums are the definition of the whole being greater than the sum of the parts.
That being said the sum of the parts are always damn good. Love this dude

The Humble music video was stunning, that's the majority of the reason everyone is talking about it. Heart Part Four was a better song.
I wouldn't be surprise if neither featured on the album and it was conceptual like TPAB.
