Revered director of the Dark Souls series Hidetaka Miyazaki has said there are no plans for sequels or remakes, but From Software is working on a new IP.

In an interview with Chinese site GGN Gamer (and put into English by the denizens of NeoGAF) the From Software president said "rather than make another sequel, I think it's time we take a step to a new direction. Development of a new IP has already begun."

On top of this, further attempts to ask about a Demon's Souls remake were met with confirmation that old or new games in the existing Dark Souls, Bloodborne or Demon's Souls universe are unlikely for several years.

"We want to try making new things," Miyazaki said. "There's absolutely no plan right now for any sequels, spin-offs or tie-ins. But I can't say for certain the possibility is zero per cent. For example, if a From Software developer come to me five years from now and beg 'please let me make another Dark Souls' then I will not rule out the possibility to let my subordinates start a new project."

Dark Souls III will continue to receive the two expansion DLCs it was originally promised, with the first arriving in autumn this year and the second to follow in early 2017.

i'm using that as evidence to support my claim that you have plebby taste in games so your opinion holds no weight :coffee:

I also don't see why people are excited for an old COD remaster, the games are all the same for the most part with new maps, majority of guns/perks/killstreaks are the exact same just reskinned, in fact the old COD's seem quite limited now compared to more recent ones. Gimmick of a COD4 remaster will wear off within a month of release. The price they're charging for it is extortionate too.

No different imo, it was fresh and new at the time so the nostalgia is there but the reality of the game is going to be different.

At the end of the day every cod since is cod 4 slightly tweaked, doubt anyone will like it as much when it gets remastered.

It's a fairly good game. It starts off on a high note, though. It never really reached the climax that I had anticipated, and the ending was rather lukewarm in my opinion. I like The Wolf Among Us better, but that game is less interactive and a relatively different game overall.

Lavacitor in R&C is OP, just 2 more points from fully upgrading it. Got the Warmonger for chunky enemies as well, gonna try and upgrade Mr Zurkon fully next.

Combuster is one of the worst pieces of weaponry in any videogame ever, dunno why they keep bringing it back, rather have Halo 3 Magnum (@Jonathan28) than that

Agree on Combustor though, as for OP weapons to me it went Bouncer and Warmonger. Both were absolutely disgusting.

That was until I unlocked the Ryno rofl
