Could be out for minimum of 5 months. In that case, Barca can sign a replacement even though transfer window is closed
Not entirely sure, I just know that if one of your players sustains a season-ending injury, you are allowed to sign one more player - at least in Spain.
It happen to Real Madrid in 2009, the year Pelli was here. The injured player was Khedira and I think the replacement was Lass. Same time of year as this case, just after the winter market had closed. I’m pretty sure this signing was good for CL as well as for Spain. The issue isn’t can a signing be made, but rather who would be available.

You are asking the wrong question
Dembele is not only fragile but he also has a garbage lifestyle for an elite athlete. The partying and eating shit food always catches up

Nothing. Him and Suarez are the only ones injured and Luis is 47.

Re: Ousmane Dembélé
With all the talent he has we should be asking who is the better player for this generation for France between him and MBAPPE, but now we are wondering if he is better than 17 years old Ansu Fati.
He will be lucky if he becomes as good as "one season wonder Dimitri Payet" at some point in his career

What a shame. That RW role that Setien had Fati playing in the prior games seemed perfect for Dembele.

My pro career got derailed by injuries. It’s not his fault. coaches will run everyone in the ground not named messi and don’t cater to specific players’ needs. some players can’t handle intensity and fatigue quicker then others due to higher power output and muscular imbalances.

Were you a 100 mil player?
Players worked with 0 intensity under Valverde. And Dembele was treated very carefully, they even sent him to Dubai for special recovery and gave him all the time in the world to return.
The word on the street is, he simply didnt follow doctor's instructions and his lifestyle is rubbish.

No loss, even when injury-free, he offers nothing but stupid decision making and dodgy finishing.

Re: Ousmane Dembélé
So if its true Dembele keeps bringing these onto himself due to his bad lifestyle, then he deserves it and we should go and sign someone and look to sell him on as soon as can. But I guess we will never know? Otherwise still hopeful for him, but still we need to sign someone.
I just happened to come across and watch those Beko behind the scenes of Barca as well, about how they have so many professionals taking care of the players, from diet to physical conditions, etc, pfft.

My Fifa pro career was also derailed when I twisted my right thumb eating nachos on the couch and flipping through channels. It's not my fault if I could not handle purple Nachos

Does he look after himself? These injuries are crazy at his age.

I find it funny how you’re such a sad little *bleep* that you have to constantly talk shit in some way or another on just about every post I make. We’re all gonna make it brah except you tbh.
Muscular injuries can be migated by training habits but it’s been clear dembele has turned around his habits, at least partially. there is a huge genetic component. it is what it is.

Re: Ousmane Dembélé
He didn't suffer a single injury at Rennes.
With Dortmund, he suffered just one that kept him out for 10 days.
With Barça he has suffered so far 9 injuries:
1. Torn hamstring (Getafe vs Barcelona) – September 2017-January 2018
2. Torn muscle (Real Sociedad vs Barcelona) – January-February 2018
3. Ankle (Barcelona vs Real Sociedad) – May 2018
4. Ankle (Barcelona vs Leganes) – January-February 2019
5. Torn muscle (Barcelona vs Olympique Lyon) – March-April 2019
6. Hamstring (Celta vs Barcelona) – May-June 2019
7. Muscle (Athletic Bilbao vs Barcelona) – August-September 2019
8. Hamstring (Barcelona vs Borussia Dortmund) – November 2019-February 2020
9. Torn hamstring (training) – February-May 2020 (approximately)
Clearly there's something very, very wrong here, but whose fault is it? Is it Barça's medical team? Or is it Dembele's?
In my opinion, I think neither. If it were the fault of their medical team then Dembele shouldn't be the only case in the team, and unless I'm mistaken, Barça doesn't have another player with a similar injury record.
If it were solely his fault then why he wasn't this injury-prone at Dortmund or Rennes? I'm sure he was as wild as he is now, if not more back then.
Maybe the real reason for this seemingly endless stream of injuries is simply bad luck? We've all seen players who get injured for a very long time and repeatedly through no fault of their own (Umtiti, Thiago, Robben, Reus,...).
Maybe the kid is just going through a similar phase like that.

could be at rennes and BVB he was still a kid that was still growing. plus once you do a hamstring once it seems to come back. The Demon of Carthage wrote:He didn't suffer a single injury at Rennes.

As an outsider at least it seems that Barca have very little injuries besides Dembele over the years.
