Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 25
Well i agree Bray has everything really, which is why how they are using him is so *bleep* strange.
I'll be honest other than Luke i don't really care about the rest of the Wyatt family and wouldn't care less if they sacked them tomorrow lol. But Bray genuinely can be great.

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 25
In fairness he's not talked for a while outside of The Rock promo, he said that himself over Wrestlemania weekend actually that he felt that his character needed a refresh and part of that was talking less.
I think i agree with him tbh, as it got to the point where he was doing a promo every single week and it got stale. But we'll see where it goes.

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 25
I don't like doing these sorts of comparisons, but if this was the attitude era, Bray would be a huge star and Reigns would be an enforcer for a stable at best.
Anti heros:
Ambrose
Bray Wyatt
Sandow
Heels:
Cena
Jericho
Miz
How good would the main event picture be if those were the alignments. Every one of those guys is entertaining, good on the mic, good character work and charismatic. The 4 most important traits for a main eventer.

I know you don't like him MT but Owens has all those traits.
Also are you ever going to stop believing in Sandow

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 25
Owens doesn't have a character though. Yeh sure he's a good talker, but no character. He's similar to what Barrett was when he first started out.
I think with guys like Bray and Sandow you have to ignore their booking and look at their traits/what they offer. Just because the WWE portray someone a certain way, it doesn't mean that's who they are or what they're capable of.

He clearly does lol, it's the perfect example of how to be a trash talking heel. Don't see how you can say he doesn't have a character lol.
He's one of the most entertaining guys on the roster right now, i sort of semi understand some of the guys you don't like considering what you look for but Owens i don't get it.

'Trash talking' isn't really a character though imo. It's just a common trait of a heel.
Austin 'trash talked' yet he had the Stone Cold character.

Still remember school days. Watching PPV's on a Sunday night, going in with 4 hours sleep.

I never did it but my mate always did
Always used to ask him how, the mere idea of going into school with like 3 hours sleep was crazy to me.

Used to do that during WoW days, raids start at 12, finish 3, then 3 hrs of sleep, then off to school

would always record PPV's and watch it with friends after school, never watched live back when wrasslin was prime, wasn't the era when ppl got the entire thing leaked hours before it aired, pretty sure I used to watch raw on fridays ffs

my prime for wrasslin was like 1999-2003 tbh, after that I followed it but even less than I do now until about 2006, then I went dark for a long time except reading news online when bored. I didn't even use the internet back in the wrestling days so everything was surprising. since we were all so young there wasn't anyone whose parents let them watch it live so no chance of spoilers unless some pleb watched the matches at like 6am before school which I did a few times
seeing austin again last night reminded me of watching this on tape with the lads the day after it aired
top 3 moment ever in wwe
