Even if we were to agree that Suarez was better than Neymar in the 1st half of 2015, the gap between them was bigger in the 2nd half of 2015.

He should have been in the Ballon D'Or podium over Ronaldo for sure though.

Actually there is more 50 goals scorers when we add every competition including national team. Suarez has had an edge in club football because he has been banned from national team 1,5 seasons already, and has been resting when others fly with to play additional games.

From 90's Ronaldo 63 (96-97) comes to mind first.

No one cares about intl. friendlies.

I'm the speaker of logic and we think that you should care if you compare banned players to others.

It doesn't matter because Suarez still has played more minutes than pretty much anyone else this season. 3, 4, 5 friendlies in a season where players just walk around like a training session is not going to change his goalscoring ability to the worse over the course of an entire season because of fatigue. If anything, more games means more goals, especially in uncompetitive friendlies.

Suarez has rested already one major tournament and 4 tough as nails WCQ games. Put Jardel in Brazilian nt team flying to other side of the world and other timezone matters a lot, he never would have scored 50 goals for club then. Yeah, he would have probably scored more, less for Barcelona, that's why it makes sense to compare whole season, not just club games.

It doesn't really matter. Most players in the world "missed the Copa America". So when it's a Copa America year, are we going to only count the stats of players who have played in that tournament and have gone far and the output of the rest of the world is "not compareable" because they didn't have additional games and therefore had an "edge" for the rest of the upcoming season over Copa America players? If we're going to nitpick so much, no one is compareable. Players get rested by their coaches, injured, some people put exhausting defensive effort on the pitch, some don't, some players get knocked out early in competitions, some leagues have a 4 week winter break etc. The "fatigue level" of players isn't 100 % equal to begin with so it's pointless to nitpick because of a handful of intl. games.

Can you do two lists? Club football and club + internaSHITonal football?

If you don't understand how you'll have more energy and form for club when you don't have to travel, train, think, adjust for timezones and play for national team, I can't really help you further.

Can we just all get along and have two versions of it? One with NT football, one without it?

For this Suarez only valid comparison would be to club only players like Jardel.

If you don't understand that not every intl. game is automatically played across a different continent with long travel times, in fact almost never for 90+ % of European players in European top leagues, that intl. friendlies aren't overly energy draining with long time effects (at best it makes a difference for the next game after the intl. break, but not a drastic change for the output of a player over the whole season) and that coaches often substitute or completely rest their senior players in friendlies to test younger and more unproven players anyway and that there are 1000 other variables that determine the "energy levels" of players aside from a handful of intl. games (like getting substituted by the coach, having a long winter break, playing against different level of teams in different kind of forms at different times), then I can't further help you either.

Put any other striker in there I doubt would have the same impact and results he is achieving, perhaps with the exception of Lewand, all others would not have done the job hes done and made MSN the best ever trio.
