Liverpool v Stoke

Another game already tonight, our 1 - 0 lead in the League Cup semi-final puts as in a good position to reach the final. Stoke have the quality to make this difficult still, let's see how it goes.

Confident going into this.

Trophy's long overdue, so I'm sure Klopp will be taking this game seriously.

If Benteke is causing issues he can come on for someone like Ibe, Teixeira or Milner.

Can could use the rest, Lucas has not been good, and neither has Moreno. The CB pairing could use a break also with how horrid they were against Norwich (but unfortunately Caulker is cup tied for this one I believe). Clyne picked up a knock and I love Flanno anyway.

I would, Klopp wouldn't . I guess Kloppy would prefer more muscle against Stoke.

Meh I don't care about this Klopp love anymore. I like Klopp a lot but he sets up like a dunce.

Stoke were always going to hoof it today and pack up the middle. Why wouldn't you play Benteke, Ibe and Smith? Flanagan was a necessity and he isn't a crosser so doesn't really provide much of a wide option -- he's good defensively and can cut in for nice link-up. Moreno is useless in general.


It offers a much more balanced approach. If you're really afraid of your defence and don't want to use Benteke get rid of him and add Can/Lucas to the mix but by god we have no threat from out wide like this so easy to play against.

Now we should bring on at least Ibe and Smith, probably Benteke too. What a poor team choice for a great manager.

I wonder if crouch will now go one on one with lucas who has now been switched to cb
