@Urby he was always gonna go at the end of the season at the latest and I still fully expect us to be a source of banter this season regardless
sports is 100% sweating right now though because Pogba's excuse is gone now
inb4 Mou psychologically ruined him and it will take a change of environment for him to recover

Rather give it to the Keiran 'baby face' Mckenna if we are appointing from within. Carrick.. I dont know. Seems a bit like Giggs in personality. May come across as bland. McKenna at least had our youth team play some really good stuff. Might promote some of our kids too, like Greenwood and Chong at the expense some super duds like Lukaku and Lingard.

Will be funny if the new manager treats this tit even more harshly.

never seen so ungrateful fans and a club like Utd in my life tbh. How can you be so delusional to be happy after sacking a great manager of your own club !
Hasnt he kept on delivering trophy after trophy in every season so far. They completely failed to back him in the summer where as other clubs were spending left and right. I mean even a club like Liverpool spent money Really shameful behaviour from Utd fans.

mourinho has probably made more money than any coach in the history of sports for getting the boot. these sacks have been economically profitable for him

He spent half a billion. Delivered the treble of sadness first season and nothing after. Complete shambles this season.
He didn't deserve to be backed after his transfers and discarding people after barely even using them (like Lindelof, Bailly, Fred)
We spent 50+ million on a CM this summer that he benched after 2 games. He signed Sanchez less than a year ago and he looks like a WOAT signing.
so STFU.

Spalletti is hands down brilliant as a man and manager but after that Champions League crash out he should be replaced by the reprisal of Jose himself.
It is no secret Jose loves Inter by far out of all clubs.

Re: Jose Mourinho Sack Watch
Mourinho's style wouldn't suit anyone at this moment. His ideas are not there.
He is at the stage Wenger was after years of short results with Arsenal and one fails to understand the mind is meant to take hiatuses to rediscover themselves or their project to which unlike Wenger never got to really do, and Mourinho has been needed that for over 4 years now.
He does so and in my opinion he will bring back the lustre and gleam that made him the most controversial manager of this generation.
Take a year, take Inter or start from where it all began even.
Of course someone like Pogba would drive him nuts similar to Balotelli to Mancini.
Both have the IQ of a chair.

I don't believe I'd get back to not cloud memory, he 'd be such as when Shevchenko joined again to Milan in 2008

If he rejoins now yes, but Mourinho is a mind for Inter not just an expendable body of physical and motor performance like a footballer is. He is a mind, and a brilliant one at that.
Should he take the time to gain perspective and rejuvenation omnipresent form the game, a return to San Siro where he loves more than all can work, if not the return itself bringing him back to life.
Plus we all would like to see Icardi and Mourinho pair up at this stage of his career and how they form a relationship. Hypotheticals, regardless.

Re: Jose Mourinho Sack Watch
i don't think there's anything particularly wrong with his ideas. on these forums, the term 'man manager' has become quite popular and has been largely used as a negative connotation to describe coaches who people feel only do well because their players like or admire them, than because of fancy tactical set ups that podcasters or youtube analyzers like to describe
well, that 'man management' is something mourinho needs to rediscover. at some point players just get tired of the bs and being thrown under the bus. but its hard to change if that's what you've always been doing. either rediscover that, or sign short 2 year contracts. and considering these sacks have been quite profitable for him and his agents, signing a short deal is out of the question

Re: Jose Mourinho Sack Watch
No remotely big club should touch Mourinho.
He's been sacked from his last three jobs in eerily similar circumstances. His man management has been hugely suspect (even if I sympathise a bit with the Pogba situation), like he can't even a build a bridge to burn down in the first place. Whatever coaching acumen he still has, it's not worth the inevitable conflicts he causes with players.
At this point, the only clubs he'd be a good fit at would be anyone willing to embrace the underdog mentality. United never saw themselves that way, and I think that's one the big reasons this partnership failed in the end. Any time Mourinho tried to lower expectations, he was shot down.
