Re: The Arsenal Injury Thread
Wilshere and Rosicky are back in full training. They haven't decided on if Wilshere will play any U21 games yet. Signs are good for Wilshere but they'll need to see how he responds.
Cech is back in normal training but could be short for Watford.
Ramsey won't be back until next week. Flamini also out for Saturday but could be back the week after.
Cazorla is running again but will need 3-4 weeks of training to be back.

Re: The Arsenal Injury Thread
Wilshere and Rosicky will play in the U21 game tomorrow - it's being streamed live by Arsenal.
Ramsey and Flamini could be back. They had good training sessions and will have final tests soon to see if they can join the squad.
Cazorla and Chamberlain the only injured players at the moment. Wenger says they're waiting for Ox to regain fitness and Santi needs match practice. They aren't far off.

Wilshere and Rosicky will play in today's U21 game against Swansea.
Chamberlain and Cazorla could be back in full training next week. They're still only doing fitness work at the moment.
No new injuries from the West Ham game except our pride.

Mertesacker out for the final two games of the season with a hamstring injury.
Couldn't even last the rest of the season with a fully fit squad

Welbeck could be out 3-6 months apparently.
Scan results on Wednesday, but it's not sounding good.

Re: The Arsenal Injury Thread
Danny Welbeck in his entire Utd career missed 130 days due to injury.
In 2 years at Arsenal, he missed 314 days & now 9 months more.
Same thing with Cazorla lol.

Same with Özil, he has NEVER missed more than 1 week in his professional career until Arsenal. We are a *bleep* joke.

Gutted for Welbeck, he looked so ready to push himself up to the next level after coming back from one big injury ...

Gutted for the lad.
He was signed because of an injury near deadline day. He has spent most of his time injured himself. The irony.

He had a small problem with his knee but is expected to travel to Scandanavia with the rest of the squad:

Re: The Arsenal Injury Thread
“Gabriel has an ankle problem, and will be out for six to eight weeks,” he said. “It is a bit better than we feared at the start.”
Jack Wilshere’s knee problem will also keep him out of Sunday’s Premier League opener against Liverpool.
“Jack is doing well, but he will be short for Sunday,” said the boss. “He is back in training but will not be completely ready for Sunday.”
Which is good news, we guess. And on Carl Jenkinson, sidelined since January with a cruciate knee ligament injury, he said, “Carl is doing well, and he should be back in November. He is on schedule for his return.”

Forgot about Jenkos :/

Re: The Arsenal Injury Thread
Wenger's incredibly illuminating quotes on Ramsey and Iwobi's injuries today.
That's actually how it's written on the dot com
I commend whoever had to write that and did so without smashing their face into the keyboard.
on how Ramsey is…
I don’t know, I haven’t spoken to the medical people.
on what his injury is…
Hamstring.
on Iwobi’s injury…
It’s a thigh.

Re: The Arsenal Injury Thread
Reporters said that Arsene didnt talk about the injuries and was avoiding it.
Ramsey is out for 4 weeks
Iwobi a month i'd say

Hopefully this means Alexis plays LW again and Cazorla surely starts now. They won't be missed much aside from depth, but then Campbell is waiting aswell.

Re: The Arsenal Injury Thread
Arsenal's injury record is absolutely horrendous compared to any other team.
Is Wenger ignorant of this, too stubborn to change anything with regards to training, or doesn't give a shit if his players get injured here and there all the time thinking it's all natural and normal?
I had previously read that Wenger micro-managed so much that he had restrictions on the diets of his players. Not sure if he still does that. If yes, it clearly seems that all his efforts aren't going in the right direction.

Re: The Arsenal Injury Thread
At this point pretty much. Something is wrong with coaching or maybe training methods. We'll find out once he leaves and see if it changes any of our injury issues

He has all the data and experts he could ever want but he often disregards advice and takes unnecessary risks with players.
