That Cesaro vs Reigns match was really good, it reminds me of the great matches we had in 2013 with the shield coming up, Bryan having his run, and Cesaro when he was getting over.

IMO the road to Wrestlemania is easy. Even if it is a rehash, like Jim Cornette said, if it happened more than 7 years ago, it doesn't count.

Reigns turns heel on Ambrose in the final and joins the Authority. Reigns already gets booed from the smarks. Might as well use that. Everyone loves Ambrose so the kids etc will turn on Reigns pretty easily.

Ambrose faces Reigns in a rematch at TLC (or whatever the December PPV is called these days) and loses. When it all looks bleak, he goes on to win the Royal Rumble (seriously, who else has the credibility and fanbase to win it...) while Reigns beats someone like Ziggler or Cesaro.

You then have Reigns run through the roster looking unbeatable while Ambrose is the fan favourite underdog (kinda like Daniel Bryan but better).

Ambrose then goes on to WM and wins. Then after Wrestlemania you have the option of turning Reigns face again depending on his reactions and finally getting that Reigns-HHH match. Rollins returns (face or heel) and feuds with Ambrose/Reigns/HHH. Wyatt might finally get built up as a credible opponent, Sheamus cashes in MITB etc etc.

I'm not just saying this because I'm an Ambrose mark, but he is clearly the most over wrestler in the company right now and has the credibility to be involved in the main event storyline.

The storyline may is simple and traditional and predictable, but just because it is doesn't mean its not the best option.

Roman Reigns is winning the title, clean as a whistle. If he doesn't, then it will be a Sheamus cash-in. Their is no way Kevin Owens or Dean Ambrose are leaving with the title on Sunday, no way.

I wouldn't really say that. There are signs he is getting gradually pushed up the card and protected. Eg.
- Second to last face to be eliminated at this years Royal Rumble.
- Raw before Rumble, everyone gets jobber entrances except for Ambrose who got his full theme music.
- Main event, or last segment in multiple Raw episodes (sure a lot of them were with Reigns).
- Challenger to Rollins for the title.
- When Taker and Lesner brawled on Raw and all the wrestlers backstage came out to stop it, Ambrose wasn't there whereas the likes of Sheamus and Owens were.


He's clearly the most over guy on the roster and they can't ignore that forever. He's not Dolph Ziggler.

And if Ambrose doesn't win the Rumble, who is? Reign's isn't winning two years in a row and joining the class of Austin, Hogan, HBK, Cena as multiple time rumble winners.

In the ring it's Hassan, with a helicopter descending from the broken roof above. Hassan kidnaps Reigns and Ambrose. Arena goes dark again and the show ends.

As long as there's some form of a swerve I don't mind Reigns as champion. A clean Reigns win is the worst outcome imo.

It's just that having Reigns be a superman champion is boring TV. Having him turn heel or chase the title for more time make for better storylines.
