That's a great interview, never really thought Batista is someone who understood the business the way it is today. Maybe it's common knowledge to everyone else but Vince just cant get over the fact that he can't play the crowd anymore. If he was paying attention he would have seen how bad the fans want to see Roman Reigns as a heel based on the reactions on Raw, but somehow he thinks that we will get behind a guy who "earns" his shot, as if we're kids and we believe he really wins coz of how much of a badass he is.

The latest word on Daniel Bryan's WWE status is that company officials were still waiting on the results of a third doctor's findings in regards to Bryan's health and if he should be put back in the ring.

As we've noted, WWE's Dr. Joseph Maroon ruled that Bryan should not wrestle again due to the number of concussions he's suffered. Bryan later got a doctor that works with the NFL's Arizona Cardinals to test him and his brain tested above average for his age. That doctor cleared him to wrestle.

If the third doctor's tests have been done, The Wrestling Observer Newsletter notes that results are being kept secret but they could be back in as Vince McMahon has reportedly been going back-and-forth on Bryan's status.

In regards to Seth Rollins going down with an injury this month, it may have seemed like WWE officials were in panic mode or running around “like a chicken with its head cut off” but that is not the case, according to PWInsider.

WWE officials knew where they wanted to go with the WWE World Heavyweight Title, with Roman Reigns as champion going into WrestleMania 32 season, and that is still the direction they are going. There was no real panic among WWE higher-ups as they were already close to getting the title on Reigns.

Reigns was scheduled to win the title at Survivor Series and then the rematch would have taken place in a standard TLC match as the main event of the December TLC pay-per-view, where Reigns would have retained.

In regards to reports that the Rollins injury likely changed major WrestleMania 32 plans, word is that there has not been a real shake-up in plans. WWE officials have 3 or 4 main event matches set in stone and Rollins being out won’t change those plans. This indicates that they were not planning on having Rollins in a real main event position at WrestleMania 32.
