I wasn't.
Few tweaks here and there little fine tuning and this Napoli side is capable of big surprises.

Lee Clattermole has officially been announced as the successor of Daniel Craig, on an 8 year contract with the said franchise.

Unsurprisingly, Jose Mourinho has been charged by the FA for his behaviour and language towards the referee.
Don't know what the extent of the charge is, but I imagine that suspended one game stadium ban may soon no longer be suspended.

IMO would be more fun to scrap the old franchise and start a new one, and cast Daniel Craig in the role of Lee Clattermole.
Slightly changed tagline is "My name is Lee. Lee Clattermole."

Jose Mourinho and Chelsea players' disciplinary this season has been abysmal. The rot is in place.
Several reports suggesting today that should they lose to Liverpool, Mourinho will get the sack.

Coloccini's red card has been overturned.

It wasn't a clear goalscoring opportunity. Shouldn't even have been a foul. A sensible decision to overturn the red - but the game's still ruined by that call.

That's not the reason i'm shocked. It's mainly because FA never turns these things over and especially with us

Re: Barclay's Premier League '15-'16 discussion V5
Totally agree that it was never even a foul
Seen many of those body checks that refs just wave away. The Sunderland player at best would've gotten his foot to the ball but the Newcastle goalie had that ball in his clutches all day long.

Re: Barclay's Premier League '15-'16 discussion V5
First of all, I'd like to thank RG and Sri for unannouncedly taking over the preview duties last week when I wasn't up for it. That was prime GL, other guys stepping up when something went missing. I'm more than happy to skip the preview duties again to see the fine LADDDDDDDDDDDSSSSSS of GL come up with the goods again.
That said, here's my preview of this Saturday's matches:
Chelsea v Liverpool
The 9th vs the 15th as Saturday's early kick-off, wtf? But that's how it is in the ultra-competitive Premier League, Chelsea and Liverpool face each other with both feeling like they should be climbing up the table soon enough. Are Liverpool going to give Mourinho respite or pile on the misery? An intriguing game.
Crystal Palace v Manchester United
After their bright start, Palace have gone on a losing streak, while the hugely boring Man United are hanging in there in the top-four. If we ever wanted Palace to bounce back, this surely is it.
Manchester City v Norwich City
The chance for the Premier League to show just how unpredictable it is.... Yeah, not likely.
But if Norwich get anything from this game I totally called it.
Newcastle United v Stoke City
Hans's thread on Afellay, Bojan, Shaqiri and Arnautovic sets the stage up for this one rather nicely. Some of them are expected to deliver against Newcastle... who themselves have guys like Wijnaldum, Thauvin, Sissoko and Colback to call on for that sexy potential that just hasn't been showing yet. Could be a good game. Not that anyone but Mole will be watching.
Swansea v Arsenal
My best memory of this fixture is about 4-5 years back when I was in Helsinki and watching this game in a bar. An English guy came to sit with me, told me he had just taken a chef's job at the Helsinki-Vantaa airport. I asked him was he an Arsenal fan and he answered "do I look black?". Not picking up on that here, okay. Anyway, if I remember right, Arsenal were leading 0-1 and this guy goes to play the slot machine. I tell him "Swansea better score or you win us both new drinks". Swansea score while he's playing the machine. Okay, later on Arsenal are leading 2-1 and we agree that he should go play the machine again. Swansea score again. There are about a dozen Arsenal fans in the bar and their moans are drowned out by me standing up and shouting "it works! It *bleep* works!" That was a great 2-2 draw between these teams and I totally believe that that slot machine or either that English chef possess magic powers... Hmm... I feel like I've told this story before... Hopefully not on GL, then.
Watford v West Ham
Umm... Yeah. Carroll will put the Bees in bed. Sing them those honey sweet lullabies, too. I hear he's got a great singing voice. Just waiting to hear it in my bed.
g
West Brom v Leicester
Tony Pulis to put Claudio Ranieri in his place? Kinda started the process already when in his presser was telling how easy it's been for Ranieri to come carry on from Nigel Pearson's good work. The stakes are up.
