15:05 - JUVE IS RESTING - Juventus is resting in the race tonight. The team has played in the morning to get ready for finishing the match against Borussia Monchengladbach. Massimiliano Allegri will rely on the 3-5-2: Buffon will be in port. In defense there are doubts and will play Barzagli, Bonucci and Chiellini. In midfield the space to Cuadrado, in the middle will move Khedira, Marchisio and Pogba, while on the left there is a runoff between Alex Sandro and Evra. The Brazilian has been tried, in finishing this morning, between holders. In attack, however, it seems to prevail on Mandzukic Dybala and Zaza to assist Morata.

13:36 - ballot ALEX SANDRO - EVRA - This morning, Juventus made the finish at the Stadium. From the morning's work leaked rumors. In fact, Massimiliano Allegri has done several tests and especially in midfield on the left wing would be tried Alex Sandro. Then it opens a ballot for the end of the number 12 left-handed Juventus and Evra. In attack, however, they come on confirmations couple Mandzukic- Morata.

16:03 - DEFENDING CONFIRMED BBC - Juventus is resting for the match against Borussia Monchengladbach. The Bianconeri, in the afternoon, held a technical meeting in which Allegri melt the last doubts of formation. The coach from Livorno would be willing to confirm the 3-5-2 that becomes a 4-4-2 when not in possession. In defense in front of Buffon's up to Barzagli, Bonucci and Chiellini. In midfield compared to Sunday's game could be a new training. In fact, Alex Sandro was tried on the left wing. The rest should be confirmed Cuadrado, Khedira, Marchisio and Pogba. In attack for the moment there seems to be new and should be toward the couple Mandzukic - Morata. Meanwhile the sky of Turin has again clouded

@Moggi you are overrating Hernanes dude.He is not safe to play as regista before defense and slow as f. to play as attacking mid.

As for the match I would say it was awful and we should have won it to concentrate in Serie A.
This was on paper the easiest match ffs

Idk why Allegri keep making experiments, the only duo upfront who has shown some understanding is Morata-Dybala but he brings unfit Mandzukic and useless Zaza on the pitch.

We were controlling possesion but creating nothing as always, I think it's time to bench Pogba for some time,he's being selfish and tried too many useless shoots.Give him a lesson to play for the team not himself.

I'm glad Alex Sandro finally played and he subed Cuadrado,we've been relying on him too much lately,he needs some rest.

Hernanes wants to play behind the strikers though, not just in front of the defense. He's said so himself, he played in that spot temporarily due to injuries and he actually played well in my opinion but he will never, ever replace a healthy Marchisio.

It goes back to the age old formation question.
The back 4 is basically guaranteed and the midfield 3 is, as is Cuadrado and Morata starting.
That leaves one position open for Dybala, Mandzukic, Hernanes, Pereyra, etc.

We could see a 4-3-2-1 with Hernanes/Cuadrado behind the striker, or Dybala and Caudrado/Hernanes.

I think right now Allegri is content sticking with one formation and relatively the same starting 11 each week, it's good to get some consistency.

At the very least the defense has picked up immensely, they look much more composed

It was a sad day, I fell asleep for the first time ever watching beloved Juve. Sad. Strange to play the 3-5-2 formation when you don't have world class deep lying forwards. No guidelines on how to attack, it was pass the ball to Morata or Mandzu, playing with their back to goal and wait for them to dribble their man and cross the ball...

@LUCA

the problem is that we have to compensate for the missing qualities of the team,
our players are really good but the results are bad

so that means there is some kind of specific qualities that are missing, which fans may not acknowledge

and I believe that DYBALA and HERNANES can compensate for those kind of missing qualities of the team

this is what makes Lichtainer so good
is the team-work , the effectiveness

you don't only players who can serve the ball you also want players who can receive a pass and finish

wow Pogba with an ala Pirlo pass there, nice finish from Licht Smile
Pogba is class,he just need to do the tricks at the right time, not all the time.

Anyway we have given them lots of space in midfield.I'd like to see Lemina for Sturaro and Cuadrado for Hernanes and maybe give a chance to Sandro as well but we all know Mandzukic or Zaza will come in.

Wasn't a bad game. After they scored we came back and actually started playing well in my opinion, up until Hernanes got a red card, I don't get why he would make a two footed tackle cleats out. After that we played a good defensive game. Borussia Monchengladbach isn't a bad team either, and I think that if Hernanes had not gotten a red card, we would've had a good chance of winning this game, especially because I saw our attacking play improve near the end of the first half and the beginning of the second half. The players were also motivating each other throughout the match. I hope Juventus make it past the group stages, hopefully in first place. I also hope we start playing better in Serie A and start winning more games.

I'm happy the way the match ended. Hernanes let the game go the way it did... I agree with gigi... we would have won if not that red card. We played better in the start of the second half. I just hope that he start playing better, that's all. Then the results will come... We need a win next game in Serie A.

It was an obvious red card. Shows how brainless Hernanes is, a real liability. I was already mad at him, whenever he is trying to contribute to attack, he is shooting all the balls outside of the stadium (every match he plays). Needs to learn how to pass there instead of going the selfish way, but I really hope this will mean more chance for Lemina, guy has done more in 5 minutes than Hernanes in the whole match.

Very happy for Lichsteiner though!

Post by lucianomoggi Tue Nov 03, 2015 10:46 pm

the game was bad

1. the forwards could not pull the team forward;

2. the midfielders could not push the team forwards
Pogba was good but he was not enough

now this is a problem; if strikers cannot PULL forwards and if midfielders cannot push forwards it means the team is hopeless

another problem is that we cannot win the ball back as we used to on CONTE days, I remember all the team making pressure and winning the ball back on seconds we don't have that kind of STAMINA anymore, we don't have that kind of PRESSURE-DEFENSE

the RED-CARD sure has effected the team on negative way but the RED-CARD was not all the story

but this is because the team needs to learn as we already said before, players have to learn how to be more effective, and learn more about team-work

Unfortunately it was. He jumped into his opponent with both feet and open studs. That's a foul that could possibly lead to a serious injury, which is why referees are meant to send off players for it.

AFAIK the refs nowadays are told to be stricter with reckless tackles like that to protect the health of players (and still there are enough bad injuries around recently.)

You do NOT jump with both studs showing, even if he missed him he'd have still got a yellow for being a reckless idiot.

I don't know, they're 1 top creative midfielder away from having a pretty devastating starting 11 in terms of individual quality

But in terms of how the team actually performs, definitely the worst in 4 years
-Tactics
-Teamwork
-Creating chances
-Scoring goals
-Conceding goals

Team isn't even entertaining the majority of the time. Sometimes I see them play and think Allegri must have lost the plot, other times I say wow, these players are just shit tonight. Other times, I say both Proud

We got absolutely dominated in the first half, it was pathetic. We genuinely struggle to string 3 passes together against mediocre opposition, we look harmless in attack and our defence is making idiotic judgement calls and mistakes.
