Juventus are set to make a move for Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea if they miss out on Gianluigi Donnarumma, acccording to The Sun.

The Bianconeri see Milan teenager Donnarumma as the natural successor for veteran Gianluigi Buffon, but the San Siro outfit are reluctant to sell.

And that has led to Juve looking for alternatives, with De Gea top of their wishlist should they fail to land their No.1 target

Courtois is the superior GK but I really doubt he is 'easier' to get for Real than De Gea.
Hell, have we forgotten De Gea basically was already sold once to Real by Man United? If he wants to leave again, there's no way Utd can deny and embarrass Mendes for a second time.

But why would Chelsea sell Courtois?

De Gea has been consistently hailed as a top 1 GK every season since he moved to United with only Neuer as his real competition. Courtois was incredibly poor last season in terms of shot stopping. He isn't even better than Lloris and Cech. (he's still an elite keeper but only a fringe top 5 in the league.) but you both have your own agenda (Hans been on De Gea since he knows he's better than Neuer and hates being reminded of it IMO and Nick has fapped to Courtois since the days he would frustrate Real) and know this so I'm wasting my breath.

You should target him though. Because De GOAT is going nowhere.

I'm confident that come next season however, it'll be the same old Keylor in goal.

Being the Spaniard on this forum, I lean towards De Gea!!! ..... and my thinking is in line with Florentino and that's the opinion that really matters!!!!

oh and with Navas' performance this year, no way he isn't being replaced.

Courtois for all his talent and ability has the mental makeup of a scrub. When the whole teams' playing well he looks WC. He was never better than de gea. Some aspects of his game might be slightly better, but not overall. I for one will never swap the 2.

Something i have noticed though, Non-PL fans seem to massively overrate Courtois and massively underrate De Gea.

PL fans with no bias know that De Gea is a far superior keeper.
