He wanted nothing as badly as a chance to move to Madrid. Got one of the best jobs in town. "A tough spot to be in." That's like me saying it was tough to wake up next to Scarlett Johansson when I wanted to wake up next to Emma Watson.

Courtois on Eden Hazard upon signing for Madrid: "He is very happy that I am here, he is a great player and I would like to be always at his side, let's see what happens in the future, if he can come, it would be fantastic." #RMCF #CFC

This is why this c**t is so hated these days. He just CAN'T shut his big mouth up. Did he really have to make these comments?

Someone's just hurt that Hazard won't be a Chelsea player for much longer.

As I've said earlier in this thread, I'm not worried about that anymore. This summer was the only time I actually legit feared that Hazard could leave since all the PSG/Real rumours started some 4 years ago. But with the way things have played out, it's over now.
Mr Nick09 wrote:Don't worry our interest in hazard was a short-lived one and it won't happen. We have Rodrygo coming next summer, he is I think one of the main reason why we are not trying to sign new wingers unless it's a shutout superstar like Neymar
I know that. My only issue is with Courtois always mouthing off unnecessarily. Was irritating when he was at Chelsea and it's still irritating now. Soon enough you'll agree with me.

After three years filled with trophies I have decided to move on. Eventhough are paths now separate I want to say big thank you to @realmadrid family and all the fans for an amazing part of my life I will never forget. #HalaMadrid pic.twitter.com/vka7UUfsig

Doesn't sound like someone who's planning on returning to Madrid tbh

That's a pretty arrogant take. But I'm not surprised.

Re: Thibuuuu: welcome to Madrid
If he felt he was good enough i think he would have fought for his place, Lopetegui wanted to keep him but he's pushed himself out and keeps pushing farther away. He wants to start and headline for another big club and now he's got his shot.

I get a similar impression from him. I'm sure he didn't decide to go to Chelsea because he thought that it would somehow be easier or that their team as a whole was inferior, though. Different league, different system, different challenges might be exactly what he needed. He didn't exactly thrive under Zidane, in a league that didn't particularly suit his physical talents, and with the likes of Kroos and Modric persistently clinging to his preferred position. He won a ton of trophies at this club, but hardly ever got a chance to prove his worth. He was even tasked with the job of man-marking Messi, although man-marking and defensive responsibilities clearly has never been his forte. I've always liked him and I hope he does well at Chelsea, but not so well that it comes back to haunt us.

Re: Thibuuuu: welcome to Madrid
I don't think La Liga didn't suit his physical talents, it didn't suit his range of technical talents rather as what he was mainly missing had to do with his passing game imo. If he was a bit more complete as a player he would have taken away more time from Kroos and Modric and under Lopetegui would have prob gotten more time than Casemiro. It was an imperfect marriage, good luck to him.

Kovacic is a very good player, TMO clearly has some sort of agenda. He just didn't want to ride the bench for another season. I mean can you blame him? Who's gonna win a spot in our midfield? He has had very good games for us, and those are facts, he's not leaving due to ability.
We just have a few users who have some kind of crush on ceballos, the guy who has a garbage attitude despite his talent, and somehow is better then kovacic.. except he is inferior in every way besides possibly his creativity in the final third
