Another Sundance tearjerker, but who cares really. Read a little about it, Abbott's performance seems to be very good.

After turning the Hasbro toys Transformers and G.I. Joe into hit feature franchises, Paramount Pictures will try again with Beyblade. The studio has acquired rights to turn Beyblade into a live-action feature that will be produced by Mary Parent through her Disruption Entertainment banner. Beyblade is a line of customizable toys modeled after traditional Japanese fighting tops, developed and manufactured by Takaratomy, the creator of Transformers. The toys have been perennial strong sellers around the world and previously spawned multiple TV series, animated features and video games in markets around the world. The toys have generated $2.5 billion in revenue.
The toys originated in Japan and were licensed to Hasbro in 2001. The toyline got a second wind in 2009 when a second generation called Metal Fusion became a big worldwide seller, and a new generation of the Beyblades toys will be launched in 2017.

Re: The Movie House - Part 5
Beyblade as a movie I could have never imagined something like that happening.
But let's see where this goes.

Re: The Movie House - Part 5
After saving the world from aliens and fighting the cartels, Tom Cruise and Doug Liman may be headed to outer space in the director’s long-in-the-works sci-fi pic.
Sources tell Variety that Cruise is joining Liman to develop sci-fi action pic “Luna Park” with an eye to star in the film for Paramount. It’s still early in the process and could go one way or the other depending on how the latest draft of the script comes out, but sources say this is a good sign for the project that had been in development limbo.
This has been a passion project of Liman’s for some time; it was prepared to move forward in 2011 with thesps like Chris Evans and Andrew Garfield circling leading roles. A greenlight had been given by Paramount, but the studio halted production after co-financier Skydance Pictures bailed on it because of a budget that was surpassing $100 million.

Re: The Movie House - Part 5
watched "The Boy in Striped Pajamas" last night...
was numb for 20 minutes after the credits....I hadn't felt so heavy after a movie for a long time.

David Thewlis in that film was excellent. As haunting to me as many parts of Schindler's List.

Entourage... I liked it right up until the Golden Globe scene, that was a very anticlimactic finish.
That's if you look at it like a movie... As another episode in the series, then great.

Re: The Movie House - Part 5
I loved the ending the most tbh. Felt like the best ending comedically. Wasn't a huge fan of everything else. Johnny Drama by far the best thing about the show and the movie. Vince is one of the least interesting characters in fiction history. That horrible actor probably is a big reason for that.

The Martian getting great buzz. Can't wait for this. Hearing it's a less self-serious interstellar.
