Yeah, don't think there'll be an option to buy at all. His definitely coming back after his loan spell if Ospina fails to impress in the games he gets.

Re: The Official Winter Transfer Rumours Thread
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has dismissed suggestions that he could sign almost any player in the world.
"He's gone a bit overboard. It's not true,"
"We are in a situation where we are working hard if an opportunity comes up to do something."

Well, generally speaking, it's not good to announce you've got over £200 million and a lifetime's supply of carpets to use to the whole world.

Maybe our transfer negotiations will now include carpet supplies.
Benzema? 35m + new carpet in Ramos', Perez's and Rafa's houses

Maybe he was counting the carpets in his estimation of the £200million

Just don't see why he'd speak so highly of Szczesny and how he has a future with us if this could be a permanent move at any point.
Wenger is a troll. He probably still thinks Diaby has a future at the club or something

I don't think it matters if anyone knows how much we have to spend
Wenger is stingy and stubborn and will not pay more than what he values a player at. I'd say the only time we've probably gone over his value was the Welbeck panic buy.

Not sure if we can do better than last year, lifting EPL will be miracle.

Re: The Official Winter Transfer Rumours Thread
Benzema link won't go away. Think we'll try to add him to our squad all the way through the window.
Re: The Official Winter Transfer Rumours Thread
My resources in Nicaragua had this to say about Benzema: "¿por qué estás pidiendo un nicaragüense noticias transferencia al Real Madrid ? No sé mierda cabeza polla . También, LOL en que el uso de traducir."
Sounds promising.

Theo Walcott has agreed a new contract, that will keep him at Arsenal until 2019. (Mirror)

Would be great news but I don't see another CF coming in then.

Re: The Official Winter Transfer Rumours Thread
We weren't going to sign a forward, anyway, since we've seemingly put all our eggs into the "top quality" basket, although I don't think Walcott's new deal would prevent us from signing that "top quality" forward if/when the opportunity arises.

I would imagine one of Walcott's stipulations over signing a new deal would be opportunities up front.

Re: The Official Winter Transfer Rumours Thread
Wenger would most likely try to sign Benzema if he is available but only him. Tbh I wouldn't mind not signing one if Walcott became a starter as a CF but that's not happening is it?

Re: The Official Winter Transfer Rumours Thread
Giroud-Alexis-Welbeck-Walcott
2 center forwards
2 wide options
so back to debate of which one out of Welbz/Theo getting more chances up front which i would prefer Welbeck and Keep Theo in his wide forward role[except some few CF chances here and there)

I don't mind where Welbeck plays, he is consistently good in all the attacking positions but I want to see Walcott play centrally more.
