Didnt see the game but saw that Samper didnt get any minutes.
Scrubs like Scrubinha,Scruberto and freaking Gumbau got minutes but the best midfield talent since Thiago doesnt get any.
What the hell is Enrique thinking?Pre season games are to give minutes to the best youngsters.Pep played Thiago against Bayern in a pre season friendly and he stole the show.
What does Enrique do?Plays freaking Gumbau.
But as per the norm,Enrique being the club legend that he is will escape all blame. The blame will fall squarely on Bart.After all,it is Bart who picks the team and chooses which youngsters to trust.

Calm down. Samper will probably play most of the Chelsea game, there's still plenty of time.

Also Scrubinha? Rafinha is a great player... Gumbau getting so many minutes is mind blowing though. He shouldn't have gone there in the first place.

Friendlies are for trying various options though so you can't blame LE there. Only time when he can fantasize abit and put Scruberto at RB which I hope won't happen again btw. It's a shame that Aleix and Arda can't feature even in friendlies.

Rakitic has really grown into the team. Attempts a lot of incisive passes, short throughballs, initiates one-twos, keeps it simple and works hard. € 18M is proving to be a bargain for him.

The midfield did well.

Suarez very dangerous but unlucky.

Pedro doesn't spell any sort of danger.

The backline like headless chickens. The couple of times United reached the box it was always full-on panic mode at the back.

DAT set piece defending doe. Conceded as many corner kick goals in 2 preseason friendlies as between October - June last season or something. Laughing

Not saying it's all his fault, but Adriano just... You know, he really sucks. If there's one donkey in the defence, this time it's Adriano, it's always not working as it should be. Also, the sun, I mean, California and shit, it's sunny, no? And the stadium is wide open so, you know, you have to take the sunlight into consideration. There's also that thing, you know, second game into preseason, stranger things happened. Remember that silly Bravo mistake in a friendly last year against Napoli, I believe? These things happen in holiday mood.

Well, he plays very good as DM and surprisingly good as RB, so I don't see the problem. He can't be a CM for us, but in those positions he has future. Better crossing than Alves.

What's the point in giving Gumbau 60 mins and Samper only 30? It's almost like they rate that clown higher rather than the biggest midfield talent since Busquets/Iniesta etc....

Also Mathieu is such a shitty player, can't even handle the pace of a friendly preparation game... I disliked the signing since the very moment he signed the contract and nothing changed my mind since then. I don't give a single shit that he may have rescued 3 points once and also scored against RM.

Sandro had a brilliant game and executed his penalty like a boss. Munir on the other hand colorless again though not bad at all.

Halilovic made a good impression again in the minutes he received, I really admire the player. Hopefully he can pick up some minutes in already decided games or in CdR. Rafinha is quality, ace off the bench.

Masip won't play a single game in the season anyway so I don't care if he made a silly mistake.

Not too worried about that. Gumbau and Adriano were at fault with their individual marking. Once the full starting XI is on the pitch at the same time there will be enough height/physicality to defend set pieces properly again.
