Re: Nathaniel Clyne
I think it's time we/Klopp starts him specially against teams that dare come at us. For all his (alleged) offensive limitations, Clyne provides solidity that TAA is yet to muster.
I feel some teams have worked-out Trent's defensive frailties and target our right-flank.

Re: Nathaniel Clyne
You can bet Guardiola is gonna be watching tapes of TAA getting caught by Hazard all week. Then, out of the curtains comes Clyne and puts whoever is on the LW in his pocket.
Seriously though, if I recall right TAA did pretty well defensively against City last year, but I would still start Clyne, he deserves it.

Re: Nathaniel Clyne
If Clyne was playing yesterday, Hazard's goal doesn't happen.

Re: Nathaniel Clyne
Yeah, it's a tough situation. On one hand everyone's happy that a youth talent like TAA has come good and looks ready to play for us, on the other hand Clyne is class, too, and all things considered probably the slightly better player right now.
I think Clyne deserves to start a couple of games in the league, he hasn't done anything wrong, really, just spent a lot of time injured.

Nathaniel Clyne has completed his loan move from Liverpool to Bournemouth.
With his contract set to expire in June, I guess it's well and truly goodbye.

Re: Nathaniel Clyne
Yeah, a really strange and ultimately unlucky Liverpool career for him. Two seasons where he played basically every PL game and was very good, then two seasons where he didn't really play at all, mostly for injury but now also for selection reasons.
I'd rather have Clyne than Gomez as the back-up RB, but I guess that would be too luxurious - and something Clyne wouldn't be happy with anyway. So, it's thanks and goodbye to him.
