Cant say i watch much Palace lol, all i hear he is done well for the U21's and we are leading the race to sign him.

I know its Dailyfail but they have a good record with transfers with Newcastle for some reason lol.

Anyway can anyone tell me how good he is currently and what he can be and is he better than Simpson?

Good young player, quick and doing well at Crystal Palace.
A good defender. Might take him time to get used to EPL though.
Perch is better at heading.
