I remember fighting that boss in the DS2 BETA and smashing it easily then when the actual game released I got so frustrated with the trek from the bonfire back to that boss smh, took me a few attempts because it was glitchy as f

Iron Keep first boss was really annoying, think it got nerfed though. Took me the most attempts out of any in the game IIRC, besides maybe the most difficult one. Think it was legit 10 times.

i dont remember what i was using that far in, maybe a longsword or something too

I think I played through with the claymore mostly which was my fav weapon in DS1

you could revive killed NPC's that way but it doesn't work with all of them
