The only clubs who could be competitors for his signature are Barca and Real - Barca just blew their budget on Gomes and Neymar's wages, Real have a transfer ban.

Even without the transfer ban we wouldn't go for him lol. Modric still has 2 seasons in him and Kroos and Kovacic are better than Mehratti anyway. Less to say that in summer 2018 we'll get the next Xavi, Dani Ceballos, from Betis.

How many midfielders do Bayern need ffs. Also hasn't Veratti stated before that he wants to return to Italy (Juve). Barca have a bunch of expendable players that Emery would want like Alcacer and Gomes. I don't think we are in need of him despite his quality. He is awesome but I wanted him 2 seasons ago before we got Kovacic, would be unfair to Kovacic if we got Veratti imo

Also defensively he is a liability so would probably suit a team like Bayern/Barca/City more than us. Oh and he'd be a proper midfielder City could get to allow for Pep to play proper posession football

When was the last time Bayern paid $100 million for one player?  Heck Juve did that just a couple months ago. So he's obviously coming home...  

PSG block Juventus for Verratti

Marco Verratti doesn’t want to leave Paris Saint-Germain, and reports suggest they wouldn’t sell to Juventus even if he did.

The Italian international’s future has been the subject of discussion this week, after he reacted angrily to being substituted against Marseille.

Both the Bianconeri and Milan have been linked, but Verratti’s agent confirmed yesterday that his client will stay in Ligue 1.

Now Calciomercato is reporting that PSG wouldn’t sell to Juve in any case, so the midfielder would go elsewhere were he to leave Parc Des Princes.

The Parisian side are still angry about the way the Old Lady took Kingsley Coman on a free transfer, with chairman Nasser Al-Khelaifi blocking the sale of Blaise Matuidi at the last minute.

Verratti grew up as a Juventus fan, so would be open to joining them if he decided to leave PSG, but it seems very unlikely his club would sell to the Bianconeri.

I don't think so.  Before long, it's going to be Kryko, Rabiot and Verratti as the starting mids.  Matuidi and Motta are short timers however.

Verratti is just frustrated that he doesn't get 90 mins and the media is making up rubbish.  Reason he's not getting 90 is that they don't think he can stay injury-free if he does... so they're really being careful.

His agent blasted the French media, which he should.

Going to say the same thing i said when everyone on this forum thought he was going to Real Madrid.

PSG won't sell because they don't need to, this will pass by like every other time people lost their mind over reports that know nothing.

You all never learn, the only way he leaves if he lets his contract run down like Kroos did.

Yeah... I mean PSG would have to want to sell him for him to go. He just extended his contract yet again in August until 2021. So they have him under control for another 5 years.

It's not like PSG give a damn if a player wants to leave either (Silva, Lavezzi, Matuidi, etc.). That will bite them though at some point imo.

IF verrati are willing to sell him its between Barca and PL clubs.
madrid is transfer banned and even if they go for him he wont wait half a year to play.
