Marco Verratti transfer speculation

Is there even a tangible way of him leaving legally - without the club's consent - provided there are no clauses? Its a precarious situation, can something like buying out a contract happen? I.e. Verratti paying out his contract in full to the club

I'm not a lawyer but I would assume that verratti buying out his contract is akin to a club paying a transfer fee. Without the release clause PSG can ask any amount. In Spain almost every player has a release clause so in theory players can buy out their contract to leave, like Jack Martinez did at Bilbao. Obviously the buying club will front the money

If Verratti wanted out, he wouldn't ask for more money every summer and have years added to his contract as a result... PSG are absolutely justified with what they're doing.

At the very least, Verratti could have asked certain teams to be included in his contract where PSG would be forced to negotiate if a minimum fee was offered. But he never did that. It would have forced him to take a lower wage.

He maximized his wages in exchange for his commitment.

What an absolutely terrible transfer saga.

PSG hated his last agent as he kept running his mouth against the club, this move could be in vested faith of the club rather than against it, as PSG has had good dealings with Raiola
